If someone is at Pop could they look and see if there are any cross stitch kits in the gift shop and the price? I've heard they've been there in the past. We're going in March and I'm hoping they have them.

I've seen a travel sewing kit, but never a cross stitch kit. Sounds like the type of thing they may have carried some number of years ago. I can't say I would have specifically looked for one though.

I just returned about ten days ago and did not see anything like that in the gift shop. Of course, there was a lot of holiday merchandise, so it could be that they were just missing for that reason. But I haven’t seen any type of needlework kits for a long time anywhere on property.

Well, I had to switch from Pop to Music to save $600 for free dining and I'm sad!! I love Pop and was looking forward to the Sky Liner and all that jazz. Going to keep hoping something opens up there! 🤞

Booked free dining 7/7 - 7/14 standard room! Still hard to pay $198 a night for Pop, though. Our last trip 2 years ago, it was only $140 (and I complained then too).

They Skyliner almost makes it worth it, but I wouldn't pay it again. That was our rack rate for Thanksgiving until we got the AP discount.

Not the best time to tell you back when the Dining Plan Free promotion started, you could stack discounts and I paid less than $70/night, huh?

I am very excited about the Skyliner (not excited that I have to fold a double stroller though, takes a lot of the appeal away.. my husband hates dealing with the stoller). I also had to "age up" my almost 6 year old to 10 and purchase an adult ticket for him, so he will be able to get adult QS meals (he doesn't eat PB&J and has a huge appetite). Only $20 extra, but still an annoyance.

I was just speaking to my husband about this! Back when those promotions were offered, we were barely out of college staying off site for $50 a night with a 2 day park hopper I bought off ebay. I wasn't into the week long stays yet (usually went to Disney for 2 days and visited family in FL for the rest of the week). I did get a disaster rate of $77 for a refurb Pop room in 2017 when I was stranded at WDW during Irma, though!

We just booked 2 rooms with free dining for the same price and dates! There were only few weeks that work with my brothers family schedule without any conflicts this summer and was one of them, so figured free dining savings were probably worth paying rack rate. Won’t know for another week or two, but still I very slight chance we might need to change it to late June. He really intrigued with the idea of free dining, so I convinced him to lock in in NOW, if/when free dining came out today, since we can always chance the dates later if we needed to. Does that make sense?

Few questions I was hoping others could help with. Our previous 3 vacations were in June, so July at WDW will be a new experience for us. Other than it maybe being a degree or two warmer and possibly a few more storms, anything else we should be aware of?

Were a party of 5, hence the second room. I’ll be the only one in the second room, which will hopefully be connecting, so we can hang out when my nieces are sleeping and it gives us a second bathroom. If they end up offering any discounts, for rooms later, would it be an issue, or make any sense for me to change mine to that later? Lastly, if we did that, could someone else use some of there credits to occasionally get me a quick service meal, since they probably won’t end up using all there credits anyways?

You could always try Art of Disney at Disney Springs. I remember seeing kits there in years past. I can't say how recent but I do remember them there.
