The make your own nachos are delicious (lunch only, though). Buffalo chicken flatbread was great (but as stated, quite spicy). We had the sesame chicken a few times and enjoyed it (you can choose your own sides, which includes stuff like mashed potatoes, so don't feel like you're limited to the default ones all the time). Create your own salads are very good, too. And this is just generally speaking, but they'll usually customize just about any menu item, so don't be afraid to ask for something that's different than described, like leaving specific ingredients out of a flatbread or burger. Some items (like certain sandwiches) are already pre-made with everything on them, but it never hurts to ask.
We had
free dining, so it was a little easier ("cheaper") to experiment with things we weren't sure we'd like. Most of our meals were at the parks or Disney Springs, though, since there are
so many great QS options. And just FYI, if you do have the dining plan, most shops and restaurants were able to do the 1 QS trade in for 3 snacks (when purchased at the same time). This came in very handy as we always seemed to have way more QS meals than we could handle, but always wanted more snack credits to try out various treats. Dole Whips, the bakery in France (Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie -- has some amazing pastries for a snack credit and does the 3 for 1), Karamell Kuche in Germany (all sorts of caramel treats). Make sure to ask if they'll do the 3 for 1 and then go nuts on those expensive snacks.
