Can anyone tell me how to fax a request in? Like what it needs to look like or say and a fax #?

POR and POFQ are the only 2 resorts that 100% accept and read faxed room requests. Your best bet is to call the main reservation line and add any room requests to your reservation. This can be done any time from the day you book up until 5-6 days prior to your arrival.

I'm here right now. Don't know about the cartoons - we don't really use the TV on vacation. But I can tell you that there's no way the A/C is motion censored. It's always cool when we come back from a long day at the parks. :)

Thanks! That was my biggest question. We need a cold room in September.

You will also get to choose 2 requests from this list during on-line check in:

They are just requests, and not guaranteed but at least you get to make a couple of requests :goodvibes

Just booked for February, first time staying at Pop. We'll have a car so buses aren't a major issue, but I'm wondering about getting to Downtown Disney from there ... should I deal with parking at DD, or is it easier to deal with buses? (And is there even a bus that goes directly to DD?)

Take the bus. We've never waited long.

A word about the refrigerator. We spent a long weekend last weekend at Pop, 3 nights. I brought three apples to eat for breakfast. Stored them on the door. First apple was fine. Second apple was fine. Third apple was FROZEN SOLID. People have asked a few times about the temperature of these things, so I wanted to let you know, it's cold.

Had a good visit. Busses were great, and we decided we like Pop better than AoA for layout and busses. Housekeeping irritated me, but it was an issue with attitude more than service. Pleasant quiet stay until our last night when we had new neighbors, but it was our last night, so no big deal.

Would definitely stay here again.

Just checked out of the BC.
And just checked in to Pop!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Love this place!!!!!

Did you make any room requests? added to your reservation, faxed or just during on-line check in? Did you get what you wanted or at least close? Inquiring minds want to know. :goodvibes

I made a room request when I booked, I did online checkin and I did a touring plans fax. Phew!
I'm still waiting poolside for my room to be ready.
I requested ground floor sixties, building number five and they have told me that I am there, somewhere, I just don't know what room yet. I did request a particular room in this section, so I'll report back to say if I got it or not.

I'm doing the same. Will be interested in hearing if you got the room you requested and if not, how close you are. I'm not counting on getting the exact room I requested but it will be fun to find out how close they get us. We are 2 families checking in for long stays so I'm guessing it won't be easy to give us exactly what we've asked for.

Good luck .. I did a request while staying at the Beach Club Resort this past May (low-ish crowds) and got NOTHING that I asked for :/

I know for sure I didn't get my two rooms I requested, cause there are people in those rooms. They probably think I'm stalking them. :rotfl:

I just checked out of BC today. I requested ground floor as my initial request and ground floor or full balcony for online checkin. But for touring plans I requested 3rd floor because I realized there were no standard rooms on the ground floor and that was the category I paid for. Anyways, I ended up getting a ground floor room.

A friend who is also checking in today did online check in and requested 50's or 60's. They put her in the 80's. I know she didn't do a fax request though.

Just left POP after my first stay at a value. Got my exact requested room location (50's lake view - got bldg. 3 awesome view of lake and EPCOT fireworks!) Enjoyed the pool - surprisingly not crowded in the morning. My biggest gripe is with the open bus queues in the front. Why the heck aren't these covered??? They have a covering over the walkway but in the blazing heat, or rain it's just stupid. Very nice resort. But my DH didn't like the beds so back to mods or deluxe for us!
