Does anyone know the numbers of the Pop bus stops at the parks?

In June my Brother In Law said at MK it was between 8 and 11 depending on the day. He didn't remember where at the other parks, but they never used the same number twice.

They were available in July. They were $6.69 for a case of 12oz. bottles.

It was only $6.69 for a 24 pack of 12oz bottles??? When we were at AoA in June it was $16.00 for a 24 pack. I thought $16 was a good price (for Disney) but apparently I could have walked across the bridge and saved $10.

Just ordered my Amazon Prime box yesterday! $30 total, and got a case of Dasani, some orange Izze (DD wanted), shampoo and conditioner (she hates the combination stuff & it cost less than Target through them, minimizing packing), also snacks, disposable coffee cups with lids (making coffee in room - ugh I probably will bring my travel coffee maker), and a few other little things.

I know it'll get there several days early, but wanted it done! May send another one if we think of things; I have a ton of credits so only $.99 to ship!

Silly question: I like fresh air sometimes. Do the windows open? We requested high floor, lake view (standard), so may want to have some fresh air (if it's not too hot!). If not no big deal.

Sorry the windows don't open.

GUESS WHAT?! We arrived at the resort and went straight to the front desk for a birthday button for DH and to simply ask about a king room and if one would become available during our stay. The CM smiled and said, "There's a king bed waiting for you." :hyper: I can't believe our luck!!!

We didn't have a ton of time to wander the resort, but I think it looks pretty fun! Our room is honestly exactly what we needed space-wise. We're still in the 70s. I have honestly heard almost no noise at all. I thought it would get noisy as parks closed and people returned, but nope.

I couldn't be happier. Pop Century has made a great impression on me so far. Now, off to Epcot! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the fax report! Sorry it didn't work to great for you. But that's so great you got your King Bed :jumping1: in the end, so happy for you! In 2013 they put us in the 70's section and at first I was not happy as I had wanted back in the 60's section. Until we got to the room, and I loved it! We actually really ended up liking the section, I think it is much quieter than the 60's area. And really close to the transportation. Have a great trip!!!

....

I requested a king bed first and foremost. I then said I understood that king beds were really hard to get at Pop, so if that wouldn't work out, we just wanted top floor, close to transportation, 80s. (Those last three requests were also my choices during online check-in. Don't ask how I got to choose three things - I have no idea how that happened!)

I got a text a while ago letting us know we were in the 70s. We did get top floor and I feel that the building we are in is pretty darn close to transportation.

Just a little disappointed about the king bed, but I know that wasn't likely. I was just hoping for some pixie dust from doing a faxed request.

....
Thanks!

I'm just curious....how do you know you weren't assigned a king room right off the bat? Did the text tell you it was a double? Did the CM at the front desk actually have to change your room or was s/he just telling you that the room originally assigned actually was a king? Again, just wondering... Glad you got your king room, though. My son and his fiance have requested a king room twice (at AoA and ASSports) and were never able to get one (which was fine...they knew it was just a request). Ironically, when they were traveling to Disney and had my other 2 sons with them and requested a double room for the hotel they were staying in the night before arrival, *then* they got a king room (and fortunately had 2 air mattresses with them). :-)

I figured out that my original room was not a king room by going to Touring Plans and using their "view" locator. The room number that I was texted was not listed as a king room.

I really can't believe our luck!

I have to say... Pop Century buses are the bomb dot com. Seriously. We have only waited ONCE for a bus in three days of park hopping.

Does anyone know the numbers of the Pop bus stops at the parks?

We went at the end of June
Went online and found pictures of the signs.
Bus stop numbers can change at anytime so check to make sure it hasn't changed.

I have a question about towels for the pool. If you arrive at the resort before your room is ready and want to use the pool, will you be able to get towels somehow?

It has been years since we stayed at POP and I have a couple of questions. First, do the rooms have the motion activated A/C? If so, is there a way to override? Also, do the resort tv's still have the hidden channel with old Disney cartoons? We love vegging at the end of the day and watching them from bed. Thanks!

I'm here right now. Don't know about the cartoons - we don't really use the TV on vacation. But I can tell you that there's no way the A/C is motion censored. It's always cool when we come back from a long day at the parks. :)

Ugh, I was having a blonde moment. For whatever reason, I was forgetting that you get the actual room number in the direct-to-room text. Of course it would be easy to look it up on a room location map. :crazy2:

I agree about the bus service. We've always found the bus service at Pop and AoA to be great. And when staying at AoA, we've taken the bus from a park to Pop on a few occasions because it was there even faster than the AoA bus. It's a nice walk across the bridge...especially at night....with a beverage from the pool bar. :D

Hear many views on walking distances.About how long would it take to walk from the bus drop off to the middle of the opposite (AOA. or Pop) resort ?
