We are booked in a standard room with a king bed request. Would adding near transportation during online check-in help to be near Classic Hall? Last year we went with just the king bed request and got it in a preferred room in building 10. We want to be near the buses and just don't want to walk all the way to the 80s/90s section after a long day at the parks. I hope we can get the same good luck this year. If not, we'll be more than happy with the two double beds. A lot of beds for just me and DGF.

Not necessarily. As you can see from the map attached above, the standard rooms are furthest from Classic hall and the preferred are closest. 50's, building 1 has only one small section that is standard (facing the parking lot). If you choose 50's and close to transportation, you may get building 1 so it's worth a try but you would definitely be limiting your king bed option. If you check only close to transportation and you have king bed on your ressie, it could be building 1, or maybe 9. It all depends on what is available and what they "consider" your most important request. Truly building 9 is just as close to transportation (cutting by the parking lot) than building 2 in the 50's.
:tinker: for a great room!

we have our first pop century trip planned this thanksgiving! we usually camp at fort wilderness. I have a 2 year old, has anyone tried the cribs they offer? last year we stayed off property (big mistake) and the cribs were so small, she didn't feel comfortable and she was just 14 months! ...

The cribs are Graco Pack-n-Play playards.

thank you so much! we have the same thing at our house and she's used to that! i know last year, she didn't want anything to do with the tiny metal cribs they offered and we so didn't want to waste space in our car to pack our pack and play!

Hearing about new air conditioners.I would like to have it run through the night.I know others feel the same as it helps one sleep.Read about balloons for the motion sensor. Can you frquest a fan ?

So excited was finally able to switch from a preferred to a standard room. We did switch our RO to the end of our vacation and the package to the beginning. But it saved me 200.00 and a preferred room we didn't want. My DH is happy since he prefers a lake view room.

does anyone know if adults can order off the kids menu at the food court for the same price as kids? my mother & myself are light eaters for breakfast and we know the kids menu would be enough for us!

Disney doesn't care. I have to have a manager due to allergies. I've ordered kids meals all over the world and they never even bat an eye.

However that has all been done OOP. The one time before that I had the DP I had less allergies and my mom was along so we split stuff up for breakfast on two days. (she got the bounty breakfast and got a bottle of juice, I ordered a side of biscuits and gravy and bought a small milk, then we split the two items between us, this used 1 CS and I paid out of pocket for the b&g and milk)

If you are a light eater you might look at splitting one big entrée rather than buying two small ones or using two cs credits.

Does the one bus stop bother anyone? We stayed at POR a week ago and want to try something different for our next trip. I was thinking about POP to save money or POFQ but since I saw POFQ has only one stop were thinking POP for sure.

I actually prefer it. Once you get on the bus its straight to the park!

This has probably been asked before, but does any one know the length of the window at POP Century. A girl at work would like to know.

The multiple bus stops at the moderates bother me.
The one stop at Pop is awesome! :thumbsup2

One of the things I love about POP is the single bus stop, and the actual queues to line up in. One call out - at the parks the POP stop is always the furtherest away. When pulling in to DS the couple next to me got excited when the driver said go to stop #1 for your return, until I told them #1 is waaayyyy down there.

I like it better because of the que even standing in the sun. It beats the push and shove that happens at the moderates. I think the longest we have waited for the bus at pop the last 6 years is maybe once a 30 minute wait for a BB bus. The last time we stayed at POFQ we missed the first MK bus even though we were the first ones there. Because some people just don't know how to behave.
