Strollers at the food court, can it be done? Traveling alone with 2 yr old and while we'll do breakfast in the room we may do lunch on the way to or from the parks. If so, I'd have the stroller with us. Should i plan to return to the room to get the stroller/drop it off?
No you should be totally fine! And it can get pretty chaotic so having the 2yo in the stroller might be helpful.

Started following along again since we are thinking of a return to Pop for our next trip. We tried CBR and it really is a beautiful resort, but next trip it will be all 7 of us so we need two rooms for sure. Pop is definitely starting to feel like our Disney home.

Just got back last night from a 4 night stay at Pop. This was our first time there (other than getting in late and having a place to sleep before moving on to our main resort). We really enjoyed it! The CMs were all helpful and friendly, with the one exception of the lady who checked us in. We arrived at 6AM, we got the text that our room was ready around 10AM. We used the room request fax from Touring Plans - we got the section and floor we requested (60s, top floor). The location was great, a short walk to the Hippy Dippy pool and the food court. I really enjoyed the food court, we usually stay deluxe and don't have that option. The room was very clean except one suspicious looking stain on the shower curtain :crazy2: and there were a lot of tiny bugs that kept flying in every time the door was opened and we ended up with a lot of dead ones on the vanity (but it's FL so I'm not surprised). I like the new toiletries - the shampoo and conditioner seems to be the same formula they have at GF and they are now in tubes and almost double the amount of the old packaging. My only real complaint was that the bed was the uncomfortable mattresses and tiny, flat pillows. This was a park heavy trip though and we were so exhausted we slept fine. I would definitely stay there again!

Nice view! Did you get much foot traffic past your room?

We were only there for a night. But our room was ready at 10:00 a.m. So we were there for an afternoon rest after having to be up at 3:00 to head to the airport, and one nights sleep.
We never heard any noise from people walking past us or the rooms around us. It was wonderful.

Just spent a night at Pop before transferring to a DVC reservation. This was the night of May 7. First time staying at Pop and we really liked it.
I didn't make a request other than to be away from construction as I have allergic reactions to paint.

We got room 3334 in the 60s.
It was clean, an easy walk to transportation, pools and the food court.

This is the view of Art of Animation from the walkway outside our room.

3334 would be in the '50s.

Two weeks from today we should be in our room!

Has anyone on here used Amazon Pantry or Now? I've got a $10 Pantry credit and thinking I might want to use it for some breakfast bars, snack, chips, fruit cups and/or apple sauce, etc. How should I fill out the shipping to address? The resorts address listed on the website with attn: (my name)? Also, if the resort receives the package a day or two before we arrive would that be an issue?

Also thinking about doing Now basically for water, some pop/soda (we are not a Coke family) and maybe a few items like bread, etc. Does anyone know it it's $5 for the order of $5 per "package"? Does it have to go to the reception or bell hop, or is it possible to meet up with the delivery driver? We plan on our second day evening as a resort day, so we should be at the resort during the delivery window.

I think I remember reading somewhere, probably in this thread, that a Dasani water was around $17 a case at POP/AoA, which was about $10 more than some of the other resorts. Is that correct, or am I just loosing it? :confused3

We will be there on Father's Day, which is also my hubby's birthday. Does anyone know if they do anything special for the dad's on Father's Day?

You're not losing it. For whatever reason, the same cases of water that are $6.99 at most resorts are $16.99 at Pop/AoA. Though I think I remember seeing a post recently that it was $6.99 at Pop because I remember commenting that I'd probably be willing to walk across the bridge for a case of water if I'm going to save $10. But I only saw one person post that, so I don't know if it's been confirmed. But I know that for the last 3 trips that we've been there (most recent was a year ago), the price was $16.99 at those 2 resorts.

Packages can arrive up to a week prior to your arrival and be held by the resort. You won't see the delivery truck, Bell Services will take delivery. If the package is marked properly, they'll deliver to your room once you've checked in. Amazon's Prime Pantry is a charge per box, typically. The site is pretty good about telling you how full your box is based on a percentage. We've had food/snacks shipped on two separate trips now, we'll continue to do so for each future trip.

@mikegood2, my understanding is that there is a $5 charge per 'package.'

I am Canadian and many companies do not ship to Canada or if they do charge a large shipping fee. in the past I've ordered things and had them shipped to Pop. Not sure I'll do much/any more of that now as it's common for companies like Amazon to split one order into multiple shipments. Does anyone know if Amazon has an option to ship items within an order together?

If Luggage Assistance("Bell Services" at the Values) takes delivery there will not be the $5.00 fee.

The fee is only for when the Front Desk takes delivery.:)

Thanks for this tip. I believe Luggage Assistance accepts deliveries of things like strollers, scooters and possibly groceries?

In the past any packages I've had mailed to Pop have been held for me at the Front Desk. Wish there was a way to direct them to Luggage Assistance. ;)

@scrappinginontario Yea, I've seen conflicting reports on that and it does make me a little nervous. It looks like it's comes down to the luck of the draw of who you are dealing with. I don't have any problem with the $5 charge or even $10 if they consider it multiple packages. I would get upset if it was more than that though.

Think I'll still do Amazon Pantry which comes in one box, since I have $10 credit, for breakfast bars and snacks. If I also do Amazon NOW for water, Pop (prefer Pepsi products) and a few perishable items, I do worry about how they deliver it. I don't want to get charged for multiple packages.

@WEDWDW I did not know that. Do you know what it takes to have it delivered to Bell Services instead of the front desk. Ideally, I wouldn't mind meeting up with the delivery driver and skipping the middle man.

While this is our third trip staying at WDW, our pervious two stays were at the Swan Dolphin, so we had a town car service with a "complementary" grocery stop.

So now there is both shampoo and conditioner and no longer the 2 and 1 is that correct?

Delivery drivers(Grocery deliveries,wheelchair /ECV rentals,etc.)deliver to Luggage Assistance("Bell Services" at the Values).

Front Desk receives items shipped via UPS,USPS,etc..
