The beach for fireworks isn't "busy", but if you show up right before they start you won't have a beach chair to sit in. However, we had no problem standing or sitting on a rock.

You can watch them from different spots all over the resort, unobstructed views. They also pipe the fireworks songs through speakers at the resort.

If you want to sit down and watch the fireworks with no crowd, very few people, try the patio at Trader Sams. That's were I watched them our last night while it was pouring rain.

Our last day there was August 31st. I am not sure if you can go back and check the past weather that day, but it was raining from about 2:00pm until some point at night. It wasn't spitting or pouring, but the rain was coming down pretty good. I was surprised to see fireworks going off, but watched them from under an umbrella on the patio. Without the umbrella I wouldn't have just gotten wet, I would have been soaked

That's really good to know, thank you! I guess I just assumed rain would cancel the fireworks and that was making me a little nervous about shelling out the money for the dessert party.

Rain yes, lightning no. However Tink does not fly in the rain.

I'm at 27 days, no magic bands yet but my luggage tags arrived weeks ago after I confirmed my flight details.

Those are your magical express tags. OP was asking about the character design luggage tags that ship with your magic bands if you have booked a MYW package through Disney.

The same thing happened to us. The 1st time we stayed at the Poly was during the renovation and had a bad experience. We decided to try it again two weeks ago and we absolutely loved it. I believe it is now my favorite. It was so wonderful. Give it another try.

Does anyone know if the first floor, park view rooms in Tuvalu have any grassy area between the room and the water? From the pictures I've seen it looks really close to the water and I can't tell if the doors are sliders or not.

I've heard mixed reports, but we had no problem hearing the music on the beach when we were there in July.

Stressing.....my magic bands are stuck in Philadelphia per the tracking system. I hope my poor little box isn't sitting somewhere on the floor being unnoticed. We leave on the 30th so I know we have a bit of a time. It's just seeing that email "they shipped" and watching the package stay put......

Question, we didn't book our airline thru WDW - our stay (room, tickets and Dining yes). Will we get any tags? Or do I need to add my flight information quickly?

No grassy area I don't believe, just the patio space on the first floor and balcony on third.

Yes, you will need to call to add your flight info if you plan to use the Magical Exoress for transport between the airport and resort.

Our magic bands are stuck in PA, too!!! It's driving me crazy. We didn't book air through WDW either, but we did call and make Magical Express reservations so we'd get the tags. I would call and make arrangements, but you may not get the tags in time. They'll tell you how to proceed.

We watched the fireworks two nights in a row in August. One time there was no music piped in for half of Wishes, and all of a sudden the music kicked in.

I was all excited that they'd be here super fast since TN is "right next door", but no...they shipped to IL and then to PA...and then they sat in PA for 3-4 days. Then they showed up in Greensboro, NC about 45 minutes from my house. The note said it would take 3 days to get from Greensboro to my house, but then they appeared in my mailbox the next day.

Ignore EVERYTHING the USPS tracker says. I bet the bands show up in your mail in a day or two.

Ok that's just fine. I couldn't even tell if that patio was accessible. the perspective of how close to the water the room and area in front of it is kind of unclear in the pics I've seen.

Yea, mine have been sitting idle in Memphis since Monday afternoon. Either that hub sucks at departure scans or there's a pile of magic bands sitting in a corner somewhere there.
