So how do I tell the TA she's wrong? She said that they've always told her that there are no King rooms when she calls in the request? Is there a better way to put in the request?

Thanks!

I would fax in the request yourself or just wait until you check in and see if a king bed rooms is available. Chances are there is one.

So happy to say we will be coming home to the Poly for July 4th weekend!! Bracing myself for heat and crowds, but can't wait! Anyone know if the resort does any special activities for the holiday?? TIA!

Ugh to the monorail closures. So if I need to get to MK for a pre-park opening 8am adr on Tuesday (when they're all shut down until the resort one comes on at 8:30), what's my best bet? Bus from the ttc?

Would like to know this too.. not getting any answers on the transportation board!

I would talk to the lobby concierge and they will tell you the best method for that day. Talk to them on Monday (the day before your ADR), don't wait until Tuesday AM when you are looking to leave! But I'm sure someone has had that experience already and they'll be along shortly to let you know.

I can't answer about special activities, but wanted to say I hope you have a great trip :wizard:.

Thank you both! I'm so looking forward to this trip!

You're welcome :goodvibes.

One option is Uber or Taxi over to Contemporary and then walk over to MK.

Yes, that's exactly what we did in December.

Does anyone know if you can have something shipped from boutiki? DH saw something he wanted when we were there in November, and doesn't want to wait until September when we go. Is there a number to call and buy?

Did you try the Disney Parks Shopping app to look for it? That might be a good place to start.

I am in the same situation. Ugh!!
What about taking the boat to MK? That may be the best option.

Checked, it's not on there.

The only other thing I can think of is to use one of those park shoppers to grab it for you and send it. I don't know much about most of them, but there I've used one lady before that worked out well. She doesn't up her prices by much. I'll send you her info if you want it.

That would be great. I searched online, I remember seeing that there were people who would do this, but can't find it now.

Since this will be our first stay at the Polynesian I have dedicated our first day as a resort day. We have a late Ohana breakfast scheduled & the plan has been to do QS for dinner. But now I'm thinking about the in room twilight feast (Ohana dinner room service). Id love some feedback from anyone that has had this.

I don't think the guest merchandise phone # exists anymore since they rolled the app out. Maybe someone will have another idea for you.

The mail order number is still in operation (877-560-6477). I called and ordered a few things a couple of months ago and just now tried it to make sure it's still valid and it is :).

I haven't had this, but from what I've read it's good! A previous post in this thread had a picture and said that the portion for 1 person is enough for two.

My DH cannot stand the 'entertainment' at 'ohana dinner, so I'm planning on doing the Twilight feast for 1. And I figure if it's not enough food, we can venture out and sample other things at the resort.

It'll save me $40+ dollars, grumbling from DH, stressing out about an ADR and a potential to eat more goodies at the poly!
