Has anyone done this, the Disney's PhotoPass Professional Portrait Sessions? I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the experience, the cost, is it something worth doing? Or if anyone has pictures that I can see from the portrait sessions that they can share with us. Thanks.

I've done it at the Poly and it came out great.
I believe we paid for the extra time and got about 1 1/2 hours of my family with a photographer for about $120 or so.
Included are several prints and a photo cd of every picture taken complete with copyright to print at our leisure.
We used them in our house and then made Holiday cards on the computer.
The photographers also take you to several locations throughout the resort to get many vantage points.
In addition, they are open to suggestions if you have something in mind you want to try.
We have a family of 5 and have great group shots on the beach, in front of waterfalls, with the volcano, and in the resort.
Then we have pics of each child individually as well as pics of all the kids in fun places like steering a motorboat in the marina.
It was a blast and well worth it!

Thanks for the input. It's our daughter first trip, plus the grandparents are coming. Since it's a family deal I thought it would be great to do this. I am glad to her it's worth it.

We did this last summer for DD#1's senior pictures and it was totally worth it!!! We were so pleased with the photos that we plan to have family pictures taken on our next trip.

Thanks for the info. We'll definitely look into it on our next trip.

When we go next I was really wanting to try this. $120 for 90 mins is not bad at all considering what we have paid in the past for family pictures.

Wow that's great! How many pictures do you get? I know you get the cd but what about actual pictures. I would also like to know if you get to pick the resort. Thanks!

Do you get to choose what resort?

Yes, when you call to reserve your slot you pick the resort.

I believe the price is still $99.95 but I'm not sure if the "extended" session had increased in price since.
These shots were from November 2009.
