Disney's no re-entry ticket?

There's a debate going on among Cast Members about what Disney's definition of the word "enter" is here. Apparently, there is a new ticket that does not allow you to re-enter the park even to go to the car, eat at a resort, or take a nap back at the room. Many families would be standing at the gate in the evenings wondering why they can't come back into the same park they visited earlier that day. However, it's possible that this is a typo, or very poor English. Has anyone run into trouble re-entering with this ticket?

"This ticket must not be used to enter the same park more than once."

They talked about this ticket on the show this week. It's a 4-day non-hopper good for one day in each of the 4 parks. You can't use more than one day in the same park. It must be 1 MK, 1 EC, 1 DHS, and 1 AK. It doesn't mean you can't re-enter on the same day. At least they didn't say that.

I took it to mean that you can not go to MK all 4 days. It is 1 entry for each park so you have one allocation for MK, one allocation for Epcot, one allocation for DHS, and one allocation for DAK. You can come and go from that park that day but you can't go to MK twice, DAK once, and MK once.

I see this ticket as a way to disperse crowds away from MK.

I took the wording to mean: you get four park tickets with one day at each park. You cannot enter the same park more than once, as in you can not go to magic kingdom on day two and three. One day for each park. It would be ridiculous if they meant what you are saying. I think this is a case where the wording should be more clear.

From the Disney Ticketing website itself:

Tickets are valid for one day of admission to Magic Kingdom park, one day of admission to Epcot, one day of admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom park and one day of admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on 4 days, and may not be used to enter the same park more than once. Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use or by May 26, 2017, and are not valid for admission on the following blockout dates: December 17, 2016 ‒ January 2, 2017 and April 10, 2017 ‒ April 21, 2017. Tickets are nonrefundable, nontransferable and exclude activities/events separately priced

As far as I can tell, it's pretty well black and white that it's one ticket per day per park. And as it says "same park", that means that you can't go to MK on day one and three, but one day in each park. Says nothing about not being able to re enter a park This ability to re-enter a park is a part of every ticket. Just because it's limited to one park per day, does not mean that it's any different from a normal re-entry to the same park type ticket.

As we often hear on the Dis, you can use a ticket for one park only; you can't use a second ticket for another park that same day. Each "DAY" is just that - the entire day - otherwise it would say "ONE ADMISSION".

The confusion is in their usage of "same park."

What most people are understanding is that "same" in quote #1 means they can't duplicate a park within their 4-day ticket.

In quote #2, "same" means that specific park day in which the ticket is used.

Disney needs to re-word the description of the ticket usage unless they actually do mean "same day" usage.

A cast member on Facebook has just confirmed that the verbiage on the website is wrong. CM's were given incorrect information and then received a correction on Tuesday.

You can in fact re-enter the park.

All is well in the kingdom.

"...it is that your can only go to each park once. You can re enter the park that you are in that day. The ticket expires 14 days after the first day of use. We were originally told no same day re entry so they did change that information."

:thanks: Jason for confirming! I'll add your post to the other thread.
