Disney's Night of Joy

I just read about Disney's Night of Joy featuring Christian Contemporary concerts at Magic Kingdom on September 5 & 6. Anyone ever been to this in the past? I had never heard of it until stumbling upon it on the internet. I am thinking of making a short trip for this with my husband. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. It sounds really neat.

I wish I had known about this before I booked a trip in August! Oh, well, my sister's in school in September anyway, so she probably wouldn't have wanted to go. I'd love to hear how it was if you actually do go!

It sounds like a good time! The only negative thing I heard was that there are lots of groups of kids/teens, and that they act like most groups. Which is to say, not that great!

I just did a google search on "night of joy" Disney and got a lot of hits. I'm sure there are a ton of reviews out there!

My husband and I went to this a few years ago. It would have been awesome if the whole state of Florida wasn't there. There were SOOOOO many youth groups. I felt extremely out of place. I very rarely saw adults that were there as something other than a chaperone. With that said, I loved it, and if I had the chance I'd go back again. Michael W. Smith was there. I don't remember who else because all I needed was him.

This may sound like silly advice, but when we went, it was our first night there on our first trip ever. We got lost left and right because we were unfamilar with the park. So, make sure to read over a map and have some sort of a clue where you are going because it will be very dark.
