:welcome:

I wanted to hlep make a new thread base off another thread i like to check often, I hope to find several new SOTMK cards to trade with other players like my self. [SOTMK is short for Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom]

Story Behind SOTMK: Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is an interactive game attraction for the Magic Kingdom that debuted on February 22, 2012. The game focuses on Merlin recruiting park guests as new apprentice sorcerers and sending them out to battle various Disney villains, recruited by Hades, throughout the park's themed lands (except Tomorrowland) using special spell cards. [which are Numberd 1-70 with the exception of the special event cards such as Mickey's Halloween party and Christmas Party .

Starting off at the Main Street Firehouse, :firefight Merlin welcomes park guests to his special hideout, teaches them the basics of the game with Portal activation and spell card usage and begins to tell the story. Hades, bored with the nothingness of the Underworld, is looking for a new summer home with the Magic Kingdom park looking like an ideal spot, though Merlin stands in his way. He sends Pain and Panic to Merlin's home to steal the Crystal of the Magic Kingdom (a powerful artifact that keeps evil forces in check at the park), but they end up awakening Merlin in the process. In a brief scuffle, the crystal is shattered into several pieces, four of which are scattered to different locations throughout the park. Annoyed, Hades decides to call upon a team of Disney villains to help retrieve the crystal shards for him. There are three degrees of difficulty to the game: Easy, Medium and Hard. Look at the provided sorce for some information, game cheats for any that's in the medium or hard levels; as well Card Numbers.

Ok ok so i'm way :offtopic: But i wanted to help many understand the game. So with Out further ado, Please Please post which cards you have to trade and which cards you need. Looking forward to trading with many of you Fellow sorcerers :wizard:

[ps, if you have any game hints please share]

Ok so i would like to point out that these are my duplicates:
Number 23, 38, 42[x2], 49[x2], 54[x2], 57[x3]

I would like to have:
number 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 61-69

I'm a Master sorcerer from Easy Level, But still working out kinks with the Medium level..

Game Tips:
1)[for the new player types] If you beat easy level you get 5 more cards!

2)If you purchace the SOTMK Master Sorcerer T-Shirt; You will get a special Boost in the game so if your one of the lucky FL folk that can go year round, and you play the game nearly all the time, you may want to get one.. even if you only wear it at the MK for a day.

3) Invest in a flexible Binder form your school supply store and baseball/trading card binder sleeves, the Binder that Disney sells is about $50

4)[for the new player types] Ok so your a family of 2 or more and only one person plays the game.. the more family members that 'sign-up' the more cards you can give to the actuall player to use and yea we know there may be a few duplicates in some packs but hey that's what this thread is for!

I have a lot of fun playing this!

Is there any talk of a new set of cards being released? It seems like all we get are event cards that are new, a couple times a year.

There are several FB groups that are dedicated to trading and assisting people complete their decks.

@ Retro: There is no new news about any new cards Other than the Event Cards which will change at the Halloween and Christmas events in the MK and you can only get those if you go to those events..

Soooooo glad I stumbled upon this thread! I don't often follow Facebook, but try to keep up with DIS.

Got hooked on playing this last year and completed level 1 (finally) during our two week stay. Not a big gamer here, just two adults that have been to WDW often and like to try out something different. But DH did finally buy me the T-shirt:flower3: for a little game boost my second week.

I have lots of cards, many dups and need a few. Will check them this weekend!

I'm pretty sure this is the thread that the OP was talking about, but there is a pretty big trading thread down on the Collectors board. I like that thread because people do give feedback, so you can (sometimes) figure out who are good traders. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2958121&page=83

Yea there are a few there but I couldn't find that area to put this under lol anyways I agree here folks can talk about tips or anything about the game.

There have been threads on and off, but not as many as when it was new. The last flurry was back when the rules changed slightly about what you had to do before you could get the next pack of cards.

For more tips, check out the SotMK Blog (sotmkblog.com/tag/sotmk/).

Hey I found out a cool tip while digging around Pinterest or cool Disney stuff.. I'm sharing now before I forget!

When waiting for the MK train or the monorail at MK ask the cast members if they have any trading cards they could give/trade. You never know what they hold

They hold transportation cards not Sotmk cards. Different things but kids do like them anyway. :)

Hey, I have a couple extra copies of this year's mnnshp exclusive card, and was wondering if anyone would like one in trade for this year's mvmcp exclusive card?
