Disney's Legacy FastPass Failure

Sorry, but the only long FP legacy lines I might have ever experienced were for TSMM or Soarin, and those were during very busy times (Memorial Day week).

Once we got a FP, we never waited more than 15 minutes to get on any FP ride, and we pretty much walked on the rides that did not require a FP (HM, IASW, etc).

So far, I have only used FP+ one time, and that was when DW and I went to Epcot after running the Disney Marathon. On this occasion it worked out good for us because we knew we would not be getting into the park until after lunch. So we scheduled our FP+ for the afternoon. They do need to get rid of tiering at Epcot and HS and increase the number of scheduled FP+ to at least 4 at MK.

"Get yer lazy bones outta bed" used to be the hollow advice offered to those who complained about getting aced out...

Now that they might actually follow it? "Concerning"

Sorry, did not have my coffee.

I keep hearing from the FP+ apologists "Get your FP+ in the afternoon and Evening when the SB lines are long" but I'm not in the park then how is that not hollow?

So during peak times when the only chance to ride a headliner is the getting the least popular 9-10 AM slot so get your lazy bones otta bed better.

Please explain why longer SB lines are better for everyone. RD people are getting less and people getting to the park later also are getting less.

It seems that we are, indeed, going back to exactly the scenario posted in the OP. Only now, those lines will be for the FP kiosks that will be mobbed after people use their initial 3, and are ready to book extras. Isn't that interesting?

I guess that, somehow, it's more "fair" if everyone gets less.

It is. We could be swapping one line for another as it turns out. Maybe they'll let people use the App someday?
