Has anyone ever taken this tour and if so, did you like it? We'll be at Disney World in February 2005 and are thinking of taking the tour. According to our information, it takes 4 1/2 hours and we were wondering if it's worth it. Also, did anyone ever take this tour that had the Silver Plan. Do you have to use your wishes to take the tour?

Any feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Janie

My bf and I did Keys to the Kingdom in May and it was the highlight of our trip- our tourguide Rae was awesome!! We learned so much neat info about the MK on the tour and got to go on several attractions w/no wait. The lunch at Columbia Harbor House was good too. It was worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat. 4 1/2 hrs sounds like a long time but it went by really fast. You should schedule the tour to begin before the park opens. On the day we did the tour, the MK opened at 9am, our tour started at 8:45 so we had all of Main St. to ourselves for pictures, it was awesome!

Ditto to everything Ilovestich said. We also had Rae as our tour guide and had a wonderful time. Our tour actually took a little over 5 hour, but was well worth it. Some people are concerned about the walking, but shouldn't be because it's no more walking that what you'd be doing in the park anyway. I agree that you should schedule your tour for prior to the park's opening so you can get some great pics (although I've heard they make you look up your camera during the tour now - not sure). We had the Silver Plan and used one of our wishes for it. It's actually one of the best deals with a wish. Since the wish only costs $34, and the tour costs about $60, you're definitely coming out ahead. Besides, you get a souvenier (nametag and pin) and a lunch. Definitely worth the time!!

Thanks so much for the information. I think it is something we will definitely do!::yes::

Thanks Krista for the link to allears about tour information. It'll come in handy.

I see you leave for the Grand Floridian, Mousebrat, in less than 24 hours. Hope you have a great time. I'm looking forward to our trip to the Grand Floridian in February.

The name tag is about business card size, and is a laminated picture of the castle with your name on it. It's got a pin on theback, to attach it to your shirt, but we attached it to the bottom of our lanyards. The pin is a coveted Keys to the Kingdom gold "Key to the World". Definitely don't trade this one away, since you can only get it by going on the tour. Someone on the other tour we went on (Hidden Treasures of the World Showcase) wanted to trade with me, as did several CMs.

We went on this tour last Oct and it was great. We also had Rae and she is just wonderful. We had a handicapp person on our tour and they had no prolbem. When they take you down into the tunnels they used the elvators and we used the stairs.

Actually all of the tours at Disney are great. We have done both tours at AK, Five tours at Epcot and also this one and then we did the Backstage Magic tour 7 hours. there has not one that has not been awesome.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Does anyone know if you can take infants on the tours?

I've been thinking about doing this for a while.. I wonder what my chances are of getting in next week.. haha. I'm gonna call.

Edit: Got it for Sept. 3rd :) :)

Unfortunately for you, this tour is only for ages 16 and up. There's a similar tour for families though. Check out the tours section on allearsnet.com
