I came across this blog that mentioned PhotoPass Photographers at a character meal in Disneyland Paris didn't have a flash on top of their cameras, but a radio trigger. The flashes were built into the wall, behind a scrim. You wouldn't see the flashes until they fired. Sounds like a nice, clean setup.

Has anyone seen this? Or seen this at other parks? I was at WDW earlier this year and didn't see this kind of setup.

However, he did say the resulting images were not that impressive.

I was in Disneyland Paris for a week in February, and to my knowledge, DLRP has no Photopass Photographers, and certainly none at character meals. The only professional photography service that I saw offered was in each park where they green screened you in front of Cinderella's Castle (yes, I mean the WDW castle...:(). However, I know what Disney princess meet and greet the poster is talking about (it's the one with the 70 minute wait), and now I'm slightly regretting not checking it out.

Oops, I just assumed that a photographer at a Disney park was a Photopass Photographer. Thanks for clarifying LittleMissMagic.

I'm not sure I would do a 70 minute wait either.
