I noticed they have removed a number of trees on the Lake View side of the building. That should improve the lake views, as there has been some complaints in the past about the trees blocking the views from some rooms.

I just read on another website that a building permit was pulled for Boca Chica and the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction LLC. Could this be the first building that is getting refurbed once BPK DVC construction is complete??

No smoked salmon. This is what I have seen for the past 2 days at all offerings:.
Cheesy scrambled eggs, oatmeal, potato soup,tomato bisque, cookies, brownies, lots of grab n go snacks, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts just to name a few so far

We've had a last minute curveball and had to switch our reservation for next week from AKL to GF outer building lagoon view. It's what was available. We are bummed that we won't have the animal views, but we'd like to make the most out of this new experience (we haven't stayed at GF before.) Does anyone have advice on room requests? I know it's not guaranteed, but I am just crossing my fingers that we'll get placed somewhere good. TIA!

Boca Chica, 4th floor. Room 8431 for reference! From your balcony, you’ll have a beautiful view of the castle and space mountain to your left, and the poly to your right. That room specifically is a king bed room, as well, if that is something you want.

Stairwell Reconstruction Underway For The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa​

As sections of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are currently undergoing reconstruction and renovation for the upcoming Disney Vacation Club Resort Studios at the resort, we spotted a set of stairs undergoing full reconstruction at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

This staircase is being reconstructed after being dismantled.

The actual stairs are back, but new paneling has yet to be installed around the staircase.

Yes. Apparently since you have to turn your head to see the park, it’s not TPV (and like $2952957382 cheaper).

Thanks for your response! It looks awesome! I put the request in through touring plans for that room or one like it. Fingers crossed!

Ricoh Business Center Reopens Today at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa​

Beginning today (Wednesday, May 18), the business center located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will reopen to Guests. Ricoh Business Centers found at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer computer, photocopying, shipping, and other office services.
As a reminder, the following Ricoh Business Centers are open during these hours:

• Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort (shared): Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
