Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

We are considering a GDT stay in spring so I'm really appreciating the real time bussing info. DH is wanting to rent a car, but honestly, I'd rather Uber or Lyft if buses are an issue.

When we stayed at GDT a few weeks ago we just took our luggage right up to our room. We will be returning in March and staying in Cassitas will we be able to have luggage brought to our room by bell services?

When I was there in early December, I left luggage with Bell Services at arrival and then called them later when I got to my room at Casitas section. They came right away delivering luggage. They also offer luggage pickup if taking ME back to MCO (ME is at GDT area).

Ugh. After long discussion about our finances that took a hit this year due to Covid, and our wonderful cat Walnut who likes to make us spend money whenever we don't have it , we have decided to move our May trip back to October when we will be financially stable to the point we are comfortable to take on the expense of the trip.

So now we will be at GDT 10/20-10/29.

Bright side is maybe Toledo will be open by then and El Mercado back to business as usual.
Not so bright side will be the crowds!

We had GDT reservations for this last August. Moved them to this August. But are now moving our trip to November. It appears that there aren’t any standard tower views for our new dates. I’ve been randomly checking the last few months. Did they fill up that quickly or have they not all been released?
Sigh. Not even sure it’ll happen this year anyway.

Speaking of Barcelona Lounge... met a pool server CM at Poly this week that was relocated from Barcelona. Said she was really ready for Barcelona to reopen at some point. I said “me too”!

One interesting thing about our trips since reopening has been hearing the various CM stories from those who have been moved around. Most everyone seems very happy to be working, but just want to go back to their “home” when they can.

I doubt they are full (would seem unlikely) but since reopening there have been on/off reports of some odd CSR room availability. Not sure if that’s what is going on for your dates, but seems possible. There could also be conference, TA, etc blocks that have that room type booked, so that could possibly be a reason.

Thank you! I was assuming/hoping things just haven’t opened up yet. I haven’t been keeping up to date after having to cancel our 2020 trip (just made me too sad) but trying to get back into planning now.

As is the story of my life, it's a day late and a dollar short!

We ended up switching to our usual month of October this year. Too much went on to swing a trip in April, October gives us plenty of time to save and take the kind of trip we love - with a lot of eating, drinking and shopping! (and my sister can come in October)

Ahh, rats, I didn't realize you had moved it, my bad.

Well all things considered maybe there will be a little more normalcy by then anyway and it will all work out for the best.
