I am not 100% sure but I believe that WDW does not allow skates anywhere on resort property. We weren't even allowed to have them in college program housing (though that was a million years ago for me - it may have changed).

Thats a good question. I have been going to Coronado for years and I have only seen people jogging.

For proximity to the main pool, Ranchos or Cabanas.

For a blend of pool + Quick Service access, Cabanas.

We like Cabanas 8A or 8B, which are close to the Main Pool and Bus Stop, and a short walk to El Centro.

I'm at CSR right now--it seems worth mentioning that the new Star Wars fireworks at HS are pretty close to the resort. I'm staying in 9B (business class) and the fireworks feel close. might be nice for some folks (we can definitely see the bursts from 9B) and less nicer others (loud enough in our building that they'd probably wake a sleeping person).

if there's anything I can check at the resort, let me know! we're only here until Thursday morning (split stay).

I think there's more in the early evening. so far we haven't made it to the lounge until after 8 or so and we've found cookies (oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, and sugar), and a few kinds of chips and dips. plain potato chips, tortilla chips, and some root veggie ones. for dips there's been salsa, red pepper hummus, and a leek and onion dip.

Early evening in business class lounge they still have the chips and dips but instead of cookies have cheese and I think a little meat like salami but the meat was gone when we were there that time. Since I didn't want any I didn't ask for some to be brought out.

The evening offerings in the business class lounge are truly light snacks. The beer, wine and Sangria is more the reason we stop by in the evenings!

Breakfast offerings are more plentiful. Assorted fruit, yogurt, danish, bagels, muffins, toast. It's always enough to get our day started!

It does get repetitive though if you're doing an extended stay. After about 5 days, I'm ready for a change!

Can anyone tell me if there in an outlet on the wall at CSR that is next to the bed that is along the bathroom wall? Just wondering if I need an extension cord for my cpap machine. I thought I had heard they were being added, but maybe not there yet? Thanks!

When my sister and I went in October 2011, we stayed in a ground floor unit that was either 9100 or 4100. Does anyone know which buildings/sections those would be? We were close to a circular quiet pool.

4100 would be in Casitas, and 9100 would be Cabanas. Casitas has sort of arched walkways. Cabanas have sort of pointy roofs.

Cabanas 8A, 8B and 9A are among the best locations at CSR that qualify as Standard, IMO.

9A is fairly equidistant between the El Centro stop and stop 4. 8B is closer to the stop, but doesn't directly look out on a leisure pool. I suspect last time you were in building 4, since it is right on top of a leisure pool and a bus stop.

I stayed in room 9102 and that is building cabanas 9A. It has a quiet pool in front of it and there is a circular drive up area next to it when you are walking to the bus stop. There is also a laundromat bldg. there.

Yes the bus stop is in front of bldg. 8B which is just one building over. We used that all the time because we stay at building 9A

That's awesome! I remember seeing the Frozen Fireworks from that building last year. Looking forward to seeing the Star Wars ones from there again soon!

I would say 100 percent stay in Cabanas 9A. I have stayed in that buidling 4 years in a row. It is quiet there with a nice little pool but also very close to el centro, the main pool and bus stops. The buildings only have two floors compared to the casitas. If you want a more relaxing experience trust me stay in the cabanas.

I'm almost 100% sure there is one there. if not I know for a fact the nightstand in between the beds has outlets.
