Is 9b just business class? We did business class last year and LOVED that building. We just booked a standard with FD promo and couldn't remember if that building was all BC or it has some standard rooms too. We loved the business class last year but we thought it was too much with the DP, although I'm still wavering on whether or not to pay the extra $200 for 3 nights since we loved the location and offerings

Yep, you have to book BC to be in 9B.

Booked 11 nights mid December with FD. Looks like were heading back to CSR after a one year break!!

Hi, We just booked FD at the beginning of December with the family (kids are 4 and 9). After reading this thread, I found out that the NCA/NDA Varsity Spirit Spectacular conference will be held while we will be there. Will it be insane there? Should we try to move to another resort? Any advice would be appreciated.

Did anyone get a Business Class room under Free Dining for the December dates?

There were none available when I booked. Just curious if they weren't offered or just got scooped up really quick?

I booked standard today for middle of December. I will have 3 small kids so wanting ground level and close to bus stop and a parking lot. We plan on driving to all parks except MK. What are should I request? I would like to be semi close to dining area.

With small kids Cabanas is the best location. It's close to the main pool and not too far from the food court.
8A is closest to the pool and parking. 9A is the closest building to the food court that isn't preferred or Business Class. But anywhere in Cabanas would be good.

I was on 2 min after drop and no preferred or business class were on there. However I want it!!

I'm not willing to be up at 4am to book a room. I checked when I got up for work. CSR is the only resort we are interested in so fortunately we got a standard room with FD. If they were all sold out we would vacation elsewhere like we did last year. We like WDW and it is our vacation of choice, but if we don't get the deal we want we go elsewhere. Some of the people that stayed up all night to book a vacation are waaay to emotionally invested in this.

Thanks for you opinion on that!! Don't consider myself emotionally invested. My money is invested which I guess I'm emotional about.
Wife works nights and called when it dropped. I went in with no plans other than moderate or deluxe. Couldn't pass up the price of CSR . In order to make sure I got a deal I wanted I woke up at 4am. Could I have got it 8? Yep turns out I could.

My comment wasn't aimed directly at you, I was referring to the thread full of people in the dining section that stayed up all night hitting the refreshed button like their life was hanging in the balance. It wasn't my intent to offend you, sorry if I did.

I called yesterday and was not able to get FD due to our dates but switched from CBR to CSR. I requested a water view and was given the option of 9B with no extra charge. Is that normal? I didn't know anything about 9B being a Business Class so I booked a room there.. Should I look to switch to 9A?

Booked CSR with FD for 3 nights first week in October, next 3 nights on WLV,.
We stayed at CSR 8 years ago and loved it but now I am reading reports that the rooms are showing wear and tear
Anyone been there recently?

We had a water view in 9B back in 2010. When someone said that 9B was only business class, I was wondering if that was either not 100% true or a change made sometime after 2010.

Personally, I don't think 9A is really any worse than 9B. We actually prefer building 8, since it's closer to the pool.

In 2010 BC wasn't a book able category. It was used for conventions, but when conventions weren't using it they put regular guests in there.

I've never heard of any WDW a resort giving a guaranteed room assignment. They must be giving you a free upgrade to BC.

We were assigned a room in 9B a couple of years ago. We did not pay for business class and did not have access to the club lounge.
But we loved the location :)
