Is there a specific place on this thread where I can see photos of the inside of the rooms at CSR?

It's almost time for my first stay at CSR! I'm super excited, but for those of you who fax in room requests any last tips y'all could give? We have a standard king room booked and would like to be close to a bus stop, which area would you say would be great? Casistas 5 maybe?

I haven't stayed there yet, but that's where I'm hoping to be.

A good friend and I are looking to do a "girl's only weekend" and Coronado Springs Resort fits our budget needs. Neither of us has stayed at this particular resort, so we are curious about thoughts from others. Looks to be a rather large resort so wonder how packed the buses are, how frequent they are and how far is the farthest walk from room to bus stop.....we would be looking at booking just a standard room and we would be going in January. Any info you could give for us would be awesome! We just want to go and have fun and get away from the menfolk and kiddos for a few days

Well each section has a bus stop close by. Standard rooms are in the Cabanas and Ranchos sections. The main pool is near the Ranchos section if you are interested in swimming. CSR is a beautiful and I consider it a mini deluxe. The grounds are beautiful.

@TinkQueen - CSR is roughly the same size as POR. The walk from the back of the resort to front is roughly 7-10 minutes. CSR has a reputation for some of the best bus service! The waits are usually short and sometimes the buses are light on passengers due to conventioneers. With the extra dining/lounges and spa, this makes an excellent getaway! Enjoy!

We just returned and it was OK. Leisure pool area was taken over every evening by a large party who brought pizzas, cases of beer, and were smoking out there. I guess that is easy due to the lack of cast members. Rooms were OK. Cocktails at the main pool were great. Quiet and lots of shade. Lovely grounds.

I don't believe any rooms have balconies.

When do Christmas decorations start going up at CSR?

I'll be there over Thanksgiving. Should they all be up by then?

We have a Disney Christmas blanket we got on clearance at the disney store a few months back and we want to hang it in the window. the problem we are running into that those curtain tension rods are 24-48 or 48-64. so if it is 1 inch bigger or shorter than 4 ft I'll have gotten the wrong one.
