Nope we didnt get a thing yet...if i call the reservation number will they be able to see if it was sent out or not yet?

:confused3
This is the first time we got a booklet like this (didn't get it when we went in October) so not sure if it's something new? Wouldn't hurt to call and ask, but you won't be missing out on much if you don't get it. There's a LOT more info here on Dis. ;)

I got one of these little booklets, too, with the Incredibles on it. It doesn't really have that much useful information, though it's a nice gesture for people who have done zero planning and haven't really thought about their trip at all. Anyone that even skims over Dis forums content would know everything in the book, plus tons and tons more.

The back of it, like SJ said, includes a magnet which has your vacation start date, online check-in date and FP+ plus date (which, curiously, for me is four days after the date I had already computed ... we'll see how this flies in a few weeks).

The only other customized piece of info is on the inside of the cover which gives you your confirmation number (I think this is the real confirmation number instead of that one with letters which shows up on your online account page), hotel name and arrival date.

Just booked a trip with my mom for Oct 20-27! This thread has been great. We've only briefly walked around CSR so I really don't know much about it at all and it seems so massive! But we're so excited to be staying at a new resort. Since POFQ wasn't including in the FD deal and there was nothing available at CBR (we love it there!) we decided to try something new and ended up with a king bed here. And its our first time during the F&W festival. Oh my goodness, I can barely coontain myself just thinking about it all :woohoo::cool1:

120 days and counting!! :yay::yay::yay:

We are at Pop right now but will be moving to CS Sunday. Couple of questions. Do they have towels at the pool? Do they provide conditioner in the rooms or is it the shampoo/conditioner all in one like at Pop? I have stayed there before but can't remember. Thanks!

We stayed last November and can't wait to return this December!
There were individual sample sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Not the combo type.
Also - plenty of towels at the main pool.

We had a preferred room reserved for August 31st-Sept 5th. I received a call from Disney saying they were doing maintenance and preferred would not be available and we would be switched to water view. So, it's definitely happening but I am not sure when it starts.

We haven't gotten any calls as yet, so hoping the rehab doesn't start until after our stay..

Do the quiet pools have towels or do you have to bring towels from room?

This was my question...we have stayed at CSR a few times and love it but I can never find towels by the quiet pool. I usually bring my own from home but would love to know where they hide them at the quiet pools. We go to the quiet pool by Cabanas buildings.

I called to make some changes to my reservation and my brother's reservation. We are both in 2 Queen bed Business Class - Standard Rooms. I was putting in a request for a lagoon view 2nd floor room (Front of the building). The CM on the phone said that I would have to upgrade to the Business Class - Water View Room and that there were not available.

I thought Business Class Standard was all that was available, that is why I was putting in a request. Does anyone know if this is right?

I also asked for connecting rooms but I recently read there were only about 20 regular rooms and most of those were not connecting. They are mostly king beds in business class. I found this one website that shows what type of beds and what the view is from each room so we probably won't be connected.

She said she put down 2nd floor water view request in the notes so hopefully we will get the front of the building. Either way, I will be in Disney and will be happy!!

Thanks!
Andrea

I checked out that touring plan link and in one part they say that the wine in business class (Coconino Cove) in an additional expense. We have never found that to be the case (last there in October). Beer, wine and sangria were freely given out upon asking. You don't help yourself to it but the staff continually comes around asking if you would like more. I hope that they have not recently changed this as it will impact my decision to stay there in the future. The Coconino Lounge and its perks are what makes me stay at CSR.

Quiet pools don't have towels. You bring them from your room or visit the main pool to grab some. Just ask housekeeping for extra.

I'm with you, wine is included in the daily rate for business class. You don't have to pay extra. I've never found touringplans to have the most accurate info.

Does anyone know, what kind of coffee pot they have in rooms and can you buy coffee to use in the in room coffee makers? My husband likes his coffee in the morning, a few glasses and thought if I could find whatever kind of pods they use, I'd pack some.

I don't know what brand it is but, mousekeeping is always good about giving me what I want. I want 2 in the morning, 2 for my afternoon break.

I usually can catch them somewhere and get whatever I want.

I asked for extra and I was brought a whole bag, so I wouldn't worry about packing extra!

:confused3 Question----We have a breakfast reservation at 'Ohana for 7:50 on a day when MK opens at 9 a.m I know the buses should be running 60-90 minutes before park opening. Will I have enough time taking a Disney bus?

Should I just take a cab? And, if so, anyone know about how long that would take and approximately how much money?

Going from resort to resort for early ADRs, we prefer to take a cab. Otherwise you are taking 2 forms of WDW transportation and that ups your chances of something going wrong. But if you want to take a bus, they start rolling at 6:30AM for early ADRs. But I don't know how early the monorail or boat will be running to get you from MK to the Poly.

A cab should take about 12-14 minutes and cost around $15-$17.

It's been a long time since I've been on the DIS, and hate to sound "lazy," but just don't have the time to read through this thread to find the answer to my question....

DH likes to splurge on vacation. Our last trip to Disney was in 2006 and we stayed Poly CL. We LOVED it. He doesn't want to go any "less" for future trips. I really can't complain, as it was totally worth every penny for us. His motto is, "Life is too short to skimp on vacation."

Anyway.... We are looking to book for the Cochlear Celebration convention in mid February 2015. DH has his heart set on Boardwalk this time around (it will be just me & him going - the kids are 14, 16 & 18 and will stay behind). My question is this:

How does the Business Class lounge at CSR compare to the concierge/club level lounges at the deluxe resorts?

Thanks for any info you can pass along as we make our decision. :wizard:
