This may have already been asked and answered and I am just not seeing it but Which sections of Coronado Springs has the Standard View rooms? Trying to get a good idea about the layout of the resort.

Thanks!!

Except for Cabanas 9b (business class) and Casitas 1-3, I think the rest all have standard rooms? Check out TP's site and it has them all broken down on a map.

Interesting survey yesterday about my April 2014 stay at CSR. They were asking questions about bathroom configurations. I thought it would be about changing to two sinks, but it was about the shower. They showed two pictures, one of the current shower and one of a walk-in shower with pretty tile and no tub. They asked which I would prefer. One of the options was the walk in shower with a small inflatable tub for small children. There were also options about a rain shower head, a full length bench in the shower. and a removable shower wand. The walk-in shower pic looked very nice. It reminded me of the shower in our master bath at Kidani. It had clear glass doors, nice tile work, and a large niche for shampoo and stuff. Just thought I'd share the info with you. Maybe they are planning to redo some of the bathrooms?

I got the same email yesterday.

I am taking care of trip arrangements for a friend's family, and they are taking my DD11 along on the trip. I booked them at CSR with free dining this morning. They wanted POR but of course it wasn't included. The more I read about CSR the sorrier I am that I won't be going with them. It looks beautiful. I think the girls will love the pool, and the adults will love the view across the lake at night. I chose the Business Select category for them. Now that I have looked at a map, I see that it isn't the closest building to the Dig Site, but it seems to be centrally located between the pool area and the main buildings. This is their first ever Disney trip (my friends, not DD) and I want to make things as easy as possible for them. Any opinions as to whether or not Business Select is a good option for first-timers? I think they will visit the Dig Site every day, and probably have dinner at Pepper Market twice. They were planning to take quick breakfast items with them (cereal, granola bars) but I'm thinking they won't need to do that with the lounge options in the morning. ETA: They are going in early September.

Stayed in BC AT CSR last October and loved it. Close enough to the dig site and the quiet pool where the laundry is if u do that kind of thing ( we do so we can pack less) and the breakfast in the lounge was perfect and going to grab snacks and pops in the evening was great too. Also consider actually going to bustop 4 instead of the main because that actually ends up being the last stop to everywhere except DTD

Yay for this thread!! I am another POFQ transplant that took advantage of the FD. I will be going from 12/21/14-12/27/14 with my hubby and dd12. We are all first timers to Disney World and very excited!

We're checking in on 12/23/14.:goodvibes
We're WDW veterans but this is our first time at Coronado and our first time during the holiday season. We're so excited.:yay:

The BC rooms are very close to the pool. There is a bridge across to the pool in front of Cabanas 9B. 8A is probably a few steps closer, but nothing to be concerned about. Plus you can't guarantee 8A and 9B is much closer to the food! :)
Thank you. It's tough to tell from the map how long the walk is across that bridge lol. I like the location guarantee!! I never stress this much over my own trips lol. Planning a trip for someone else is way more stressful than planning my own. I want everything to be as perfect as possible for them. :headache:

Thanks for the tip about the bus stop. I will be sure to make a note of that!! :thumbsup2

I hear there are two places to get your mug refilled at El Centro bldg. (PM & Café Rix). Can you fill up with coffee at both or just PM? and can you walk into PM now or are CMs there to seat you for a meal? I'm looking for the easiest way to get my coffee in the morning. Thanks!

You can get coffee at both Cafe Rix & Pepper Market. PM is self-seating, but they do hand you the stamp card as you walk in but after that you are on your own. If you are just going to grab coffee only I would probably say Cafe Rix would be best :)

Hello!!! Just switched from POR to Coronado with the rest of the masses for FD!!!! Will the convention list for October be up soon? Sorry if this has already been asked, have not read the whole thread yet.

Does PM still have the breakfast buffet in the morning? Or is everything a la carte?

Excited for our first stay at CSR. We will be there 9/23-9/28 and I'm driving myself crazy trying to decide which days we should spend at each park. I have our ADRs, but keep obsessing over things wondering if I got it "right". I was very nervous since this is our firs stay at CSR, but this thread has calmed me down quite a bit! Thanks for all the valuable insight.

We'll be at CSR the same dates! Also my first stay at this resort. We were all set to stay at POR but free dining was too good to pass up! :cool1:

Hi everyone! We will be staying September 28 - October 5. Looking forward to our 2nd stay at CSR. We booked free dining. I've already made a few dining reservations. :thumbsup2

Hi everyone! We will be staying at CS 10/28-11/4 this will be our first time staying there and our sons third visit, but our first time at Disney with his new brother- an infant! Does anyone know how to go about getting a pack-n-play for the room? Is there a charge for it? Any other tips about the resort are welcome! We have always stayed at Kidani in the past, with renting DVC points so a large resort is something new for us. What are the best locations? Best bus stop?

Thanks in advance!

Awesome! Are you going to MNSSHP? I'm still trying to decide if we (me, DH, DD(11), DS(9) are going to go. We've been to Disney once and never during the Fall/Halloween events. Counting down the days!!! :)

YAY!!! Staying Business Club level with Free Dining in September!!! :cool1: I have a question, though. My daughter wants to know if there are ducks on the beach/in the lake. We've looked through pics and have seen turtles and :scared1: an alligator, but no ducks. (possibly because of the alligator???) :confused3

Oh, and I don't quite understand the whole "punch card" thing I've read about for the Pepper Market. Would someone please explain that one, too? I'd appreciate all your help.

We have only stayed at POR so I'm excited to stay at CSR in Dec! Like everyone else, FD moved us here. It's fun to research a new resort! :)

You will find plenty of ducks around. They may walk right up to you if you are outside eating and want some:)

The Punch card is quite simple. You can get food at any of the stations. Whatever you order the CM will punch your card as to what you bought. After you are finished eating take your card to the registers near the exits and they will check you out.

Good Luck and enjoy your stay. CSR is a beautiful resort and make sure to explore it by walking around the lake.

We are also "new" to CSR! :wave2: While this won't technically be our first visit to the resort, we really don't know a whole lot about it. On our very first trip to WDW in 2002, we spent our first night at CSR before transferring to the Poly for the remainder of the trip.

Along with the masses, we booked CSR for FD 12/12 - 12/16
After reading through some (not ALL) of this thread, we are really looking forward to a return visit to this resort!
