I'm here now! I'd requested ground floor and Cabanas., and I was given Ranchos and 2nd floor lol.
We're in Ranchos 7B and I'd read people saying the walk is sooo far, but it really isn't. It takes maybe 3 minutes to get to the Dig Site pool and about 5 to El Centro. The pool is great, and the kids are living the slide! We ate at Pepper Market tonight and the food was good :)
Bus stop 4 is closest to us, but if we're going for rope drop we've been hopping on the bus at number 3, just to guarantee a seat (although there hasn't been anyone standing at all going to the parks) and getting off the bus at stop 4. The only time people had to stand was last night when we left Magic Kingdom at closing, which is to be expected.

As far as Ranchos goes 7B is the best. We stayed there our first stay at CSR. Had a great room over looking the quiet pool. :thumbsup2

Hey all! Here now at CSR in Business Class and I have a quick question. I swear I read somewhere that we could borrow Disney movies to watch in the room (there's a DVD player). We asked at the lounge and they toldvusvthet didn't have any movies and there were no players in the room (they were wrong on that count!) Are we supposed to ask for the movies somewhere else, or am I dreaming I read that? Thanks!!!!!

Yeah, there was definitely a BluRay player in our room last time. We never did ask for any DVDs but I thought I remembered reading that as well. When we were there last December for 12 nights it was the same staff in the lounge every day. Maybe you asked someone that doesn't normally work the BC lounge if they didn't know the rooms had DVD players. Try asking someone else or a front desk manager. Now I'm curious! :)

Has anyone ever timed how long it takes to walk around the walking trails at CS? I'm assuming the 'nature trail' is longer than the path that goes around the lake, but if I'm walking at a moderate/brisk pace, how long do you think it will take?

I'm trying to plan out my mornings :yay:

To walk the loop around the entire resort is about 15 mins.

Can anyone tell me what time the buses start running and how long the bus ride is to Hollywood Studios?

Good question. For us that's Awesome news. I hadn't started calculations yet but HS is our first stop after checkin. Glad it's quick. :)
This also means it won't take long to come back and settle once our room is actually ready, yay!

I believe they start at 6am for the 7am ADR's at the parks.

DHS, Epcot and AK have short rides from CSR, 6-8 mins. MK is about 10-12 mins

Thanks for the information everyone - we managed to find a ADR at Hollywood and Vine at 8:15 on September 10th. I was super excited to snag it so close to our trip date.

We will want to be there at least 15 minutes early so we should have plenty of time to catch a bus.

It sounds like all the bus times are really good - I am really looking forward to staying at CSR. We are in a preferred room so we should be close to bus stop 2, which I think is the first stop.

Thanks again for the replies!

I asked this week what time busses started running and was told 6.30am. We had an 8.10am ADR at crystal palace and made it with plenty of time to spare :)

Hi.
Just wondering if there is cherry coke at the refillable mug station? And hot chocolate (staying in December)?
Anyone have any pictures of the refill station?
Thanks.

Cafe Rix & Pool Bar have refillable stations. The bar by the water might too not sure about that. They have hot chocolate but I'm not sure about cherry coke.

I saw a pic of a refill station that did have cherry coke on it but I don't know how old it was.
