Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

My question is does coronado have an airline check in desk for southwest like por does? Southwest allows 2 checked pieces of luggage but i see that someone has said u can only check one at any of the resorts.

I know Coronado does have checkin for SWA because my family used it last week. I don't know about your luggage question though because we just had one piece each.

We have flown SWA several times and have checked 2 bags at Beach Club, Boardwalk, OKW, and AKL. Haven't heard of a one bag limit before.

It's been a while since I've been to the Coronado Springs I remember had a nice quick service called peppers is it still there thanks

Yes although it has been redesigned some since I was there so I can't give you details on selection and stuff

It's called The Pepper Market. It's still there but now it's like most other Disney food courts. Go back to page 94 of this thread.

I don't remember anyone mentioning this, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating, but we were very pleasantly surprised to be able to see the Frozen fireworks well from the resort earlier this month! We had great views from the bridge between Cabanas and the main bldg one night and then the bridge between Cabanas and The Dig Site another night. I was bummed that we never got to see the fireworks from within the Hollywood Studios Park, but it was really beautiful from the resort, especially with the reflection on the water.

Just thought I'd share the tip.

A Blizzard Beach bus was running when we were there a week and a half ago. There was no bus strictly labeled Internal Shuttle, like there is at CBR.

Really can't wait to stay here , can anyone tell what is the best building to ask for to be near to food court and bustop to the theme parks also can someone tell me how I get a countdown and signature :) thanks x

Thanks for the tip! I look forward to trying to catch the fireworks one night! :)

I'll be staying Jan 30-Feb 1st, and have the dining plan. We'll have to pay for one meal from what I can figure, either dinner on the 31st after Animal Kingdom or breakfast on the 1st. I'd like to order room service or something if that is possible. I believe CSR has that, is there a link somewhere to the menu? I figure after all day at AK we'll be tired of walking, so ordering in might be fun, if they have something like pizza it would be neat, I know some of the other resorts have that. Any way! Thanks for all the reading in here :)

Personally I think cabanas are the best to stay at. Close to the food court and close proximity to the Dig Site. Although the Casitas are "preferred" rooms I found them to be cluttered and maze-like. Also Cabanas are closest to the main bus stop next to the lobby.

Glad to hear this, just did my online check in a couple days ago and this was pretty much the conclusion I came to. We'll only be there one night but wanted to be close to the lobby since we'll be getting disney transport to port for our cruise.

Aha! Maybe I am confusing what I read about CBR with CSR. For some reason, I thought that I read there was an internal bus that ran the other direction from the buses that went to the parks that had BB as its last stop before making the loop again. Thanks for clarifying.

Which area is better we are going to be in the CSR in October and have a choice for online check in of either Cabana area or Ranchero area. With water view. Any opinions to which is more centrally located to the dining area ? Thanks for Amy feedback.

I'm here now! I'd requested ground floor and Cabanas., and I was given Ranchos and 2nd floor lol.
We're in Ranchos 7B and I'd read people saying the walk is sooo far, but it really isn't. It takes maybe 3 minutes to get to the Dig Site pool and about 5 to El Centro. The pool is great, and the kids are living the slide! We ate at Pepper Market tonight and the food was good :)
Bus stop 4 is closest to us, but if we're going for rope drop we've been hopping on the bus at number 3, just to guarantee a seat (although there hasn't been anyone standing at all going to the parks) and getting off the bus at stop 4. The only time people had to stand was last night when we left Magic Kingdom at closing, which is to be expected.

Didn't the Blizzard Beach bus circle the resort as well? It did last December when we were there. It was right on the sign at busstop 1, explaining the route. Circles the resort stops 1-4 in order then over to BB and back through the resort again.
