Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

I have stayed at CSR 2x... 1st time for 10 days, 2nd time for 8 days and both times we were in Standard Rooms in Casitas and then Cabanas. Honestly nothing is that far away from either of those locations at all. CSR is our absolute FAVORITE Disney Resort and we love love love it! You are going to absolutely have a terrific time!

I am so excited to stay here now, especially after checking it out a few weeks ago...My daughters senior pics will be gorgeous, so many beautiful places for them to pose...

What a great idea! Our February trip will be my oldest granddaughter's graduation trip and my younger daughter is a photographer. We could do this!

I always ship stuff to my Disney resorts and have never been charged to have them delivered to my room. I just looked on the front page, are those prices to ship packages, or recieve?

Hi all! We are going to bring a twin air matress so our two teens don't have to share a bed. (Got this great idea from Disboards.) Does anyone know if we can request extra bedding for this? We have limited space in the car that we are driving down. It would save space if we didn't have to bring a sleeping bag. lol.

From what I can gather from Buzz's FB page, it looks like business class is going away by year end. They building may or may not be torn down to make way for something new. Maybe family suites.

Yep. And considering the source (Buzz), I think we have to accept the fact that Business Class in 9B is ending. Unknown at this point if CSR will eventually have another form of Business Class elsewhere.

Yeah it was a super convenient location! Its a great upsell opportunity so perhaps they'll add it for the preferred area.

I booked a last minute trip and am meeting a friend down in Orlando for December 18th-21st! I could not be more excited.

I'm a brand new AP holder and went to search for available value-mods for Decemver on the Disney website early this week. The only one that was available was POFQ which I absolutely love. One of my most memorable trips was a stay at POFQ!

I went ahead and called in to speak to a Cast Member just in case there was a better deal or different availability that wasn't listed online. I'm so glad I did! CSR was available for my dates and for about $40 less than POFQ. I'm excited to give a new (to me) resort a try.

I'm slowly reading through this thread but would love to hear what makes CSR so special to you!

Also, is it typically quite done up for the holidays as well?

It hasn't been officially announced at this point. But if/when it becomes "official", Disney would certainly contact all guests affected and provide information on alternate room categories.

Love CSR! Considering staying in January 2017. The only thing that concerns my partner and I is the bathroom. How do you guys really feel about the tub and tiles? We are trying to find positive feedback!

Do you think the refurb will address the bathroom? I feel like the room looks great but lacking in the bathroom. I know it's not a guarantee, but do you guys think requesting Ranchos (probably first to be refurbished) will be possible? It's our first time to WDW and starting to feel paranoid >_<

The lobby and main building are very nicely decorated. There is a large tree in the lobby area. They don't decorate the rest of the resort. As far as I know none of the Moderate resorts decorate the entire resort.

I wouldn't let the bathrooms hinder your decision to stay at CSR. Yes, they are outdated, but not disgusting.

If the bathroom redesign looks anything like the survey I took in 2013, they will be amazing. I can't waits for refurb pics to surface.

Just got back from Coronado Springs and WOW!
I have stayed at every Deluxe and DVC resort, PO (both when it was FQ and Dixie Landings) and 2 of the All Stars, and Coronado is definitely one of my favorites of all. This is one beautiful resort to just walk around and hang out at.

Thanks for posting this. As someone coming off of 2 long stays at BC and feeling like we may have been very spoiled, I love when people rave about CSR in a way such as you did. Stuff like this gets me sooo psyched about trying out CSR!!
