Karen,

You cannot believe the room block we had. I really wanted everyone to experience all our favorites so it was crazy. I know you dealt with Linda too---I know she was over me and my changes but would never let me know it---she was great!!

1st 2 nights, share Garden Concierge at Poly w/my parents
then 2 nights in the King Kameahamea pres suite at Poly which was AMAZING!
then 3 nights in honeymoon turret room at the Grand
then 2 nights in a garden suite at the Boardwalk Inn
then 2 nights in a 2 br suite at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
then 2 nights in the CR 1br suite
then last night on a whim switched to Yacht Club H2o view concierge(for stormalong bay swimming with the kids)

I think we spent enough money tipping the bellmen to move our luggage that we could've paid for another night!:scared1:

Also, to justify the cost of the suites (although we had the weddings discount, which is why we did most of the suites) we maxed out occupancy, which is why I now need another trip without all the family!

All the resorts were great in their own ways. We have been fortunate enough to stay in all the deluxes and usually resort hop, but I think when we go back at Thanksgiving or Christmas I will need to set a limit on the hopping!!

Here's some pix from the lounge area and desk area. We experienced all but desserts since we were out and about. The evening offerings were terrific--one night the hot items were beef wellingtons and mini quiches, the next were mini pizza quiches and another hot dish. Very yummy! The staff was excellent and very accomodating. Nice balconies too, if you get a bay lake view and want to see the castle.

GEEZ!! You hopped more than the Easter Bunny :rotfl:

livinthedisneydream,
I have had the Beef Wellington on the Atrium Club and I loved it. Besides that I also enjoyed the Chicken Wings and Ribs they served on Thursday's, so I can't wait to be going back in a few weeks to sample all that great food again.

I also want to say those were amaizing pics of the Tower Club, so thanks for posting them.

I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying your photos.

After reading this, no other user name would have suited you as well as what you have chosen!! Wow, you are one blessed girl!!

Wow!!! Nice pictures! That's the only way I'll see it.:rotfl: I'm hoping to do a one-day-whirlwind trip in August.:cloud9: We've been staying in the tower MK side except for our very first trip. The new rooms are very nice. DH hasn't seen them yet.

Thank you! Yes, we were very lucky to do this once in a lifetime trip. We inherited some money after my father in law passed away last year and wanted to do something fun for ourselves and our family. I'm glad I could share the photos.

Wow! What better way to honor his memory than to spend a wonderful time together as a family in the most magical place on earth :goodvibes

On another note, wanna share your link to your pics?? :thumbsup2 Our MK shoot pics are up too, but not our wedding ones yet. Isn't it so fun to go look!!

Thanks for the awesome suite pics! Although I must say I was drooling and risking serious keyboard damage while looking at them!

You are truly blessed to have been able to do such a wonderful itinerary. I'd love to see pics of all those rooms if there's a link somewhere.

Lisa, Thanks for the pictures of the 14th floor lounge, suite and balconies! You have me SO excited for my trip in 4 weeks. :goodvibes We only have a regular room booked (not a suite), but I can look at the bedroom pictures and get a good idea of what we'll have!

Also, do you mind if I ask how much the chocolates were? I think my kids would love that kind of surprise.

Thanks everyone!

Yes, it was an amazing itinerary but too much moving! I never can sit still at just one resort though.

The chocolate monorail was $40 and took 24 hrs to receive. The boys loved it! A little different from the tuxedo mickey and strawberries, which are also delicious.

No, I don't have a link to all the room photos just yet but will work on it. The King Kameahmea suite at the Poly was to die for!!!

Karen,
I posted a link on the wedding board. But before you look, you better get back to your tr! I'm dying to hear how the reception goes!:goodvibes

livinthedisneydream....
...thanks so much for posting those pictures!! We stayed in that very same CR suite back in February....and you really brought back wonderful memories for me!! Best Wishes!!:thumbsup2

First, thanks for the photos, and for sharing the details of your magical vacation! What a once in a lifetime opportunity!! Congratulations!!!

We will be at CR for our 5th Disney Wedding Anniversary in @30 days! I would LOVE to surprise dh with one of those chocolate monorails!! How do you arrange for that??

So happy to share! I meant to order the monorail ahead of time but forgot. I actually just asked the ladies at the 14th floor desks and they took care of it:thumbsup2 Otherwise, you should probably try private dining. It was really unique and I'm glad we did it. With how disney's been lately, you never know when many of these "unique" and special items will go by the wayside!

Call private dining (it's offered on the private dining menu). I think they require 24 hours. I got one for DH's birthday and we both loved it.

I have to tell you when I first read your "Title" line, I thought you were asking who to call to set up a ride on the monorail :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: I've got it now!
