I am re-posting my message here as I think I will get more responses - thanks!

I need some help from some CR experts. How does the room numbering system work? Our last stay, we were on the 5th floor - or the floor right above the monorail. I think we were in 4243. I'd like to make a request for a higher floor. I read on this site that room 4848 was 10th floor, closest to MK. What would the room next to that be 4847? I want to be in an odd numbered room so that DD and I can lay in bed and watch Wishes. Thanks for the help and any other suggestions for a room number.

I am going to tell you again what I said when you posted this question as a new thread.

Actually room 4848 is on the 12th floor and the 12th floor is the Atrium Club Level floor and the Magic Kingdom View rooms have to be requested if you really want one.

It's also funny you mentioned room 4847 because that where I am writting this message from that room and the beds are facing the Magic Kingdom, where as in room 4848 they would not be facing the Magic Kingdom.

How far from the end are you?

My family and I are staying in the 2nd last room on the Magic Kingdom side. In fact our very 1st stay at the Contemporary in May of 1998 we were in 4848.
We were in 4846 last September. Couldn't remember how far from the end we were.

CR Resort Fan 4Life - thanks for your reply! I didn't see your response earlier on other thread. I hope you are having an amazing time. If we did not want to be on the Atrium level, what is the highest floor request, 9?

10th floor. 12th and 14th are concierge.

OK - another couple of questions. For those of you who stay on the Atrium Club level - what's the draw of it for you? Why do you stay there? Also, can you get guaranteed a MK view if you book Atrium Club? From the website, it says rooms are either MK view OR Bay lake view and it does not give you a choice. Thanks.

My husband and I stayed on the atrium level and had a magic kingdom view- I requested and then called a few days before we left to make sure my request was still there...it was a trip for my 40th birthday and I loved the rooms and extras....would do it again if I could ever get the room availability!

Thanks for your replys to my question! I made room only reservtions for Feb 10-16 for a "Tower Club" room (w/a MK view requested). I guess I'm on the 12th floor. I hope it's nice!;) I wonder if the concierge there contacts you before you arrive. I spent my HM at the GF and their concierge sent me a package with questionnaires for dining, activites, transportation,etc....:upsidedow

Cr Fan,

Can you see if you can find out once the Food & Fun Center is closed if the temporary location will have the refillable mugs? We got the Deluxe Dining Plan for 2008, and the mugs are included. If the CR isn't going to have them, then we may switch over to the Poly or GF.

Thanks!!

The Cast Members I asked about this don't know what they are going to do.

My family and I like the Atrium Club because staying up there makes our trips to WDW a lot more relaxing and the Cast Members who work up there are amaizing. We have always managed to get a MK view and we have never requested one when making the reservations, so I guess you can say we are lucky.

This may have already been discussed or answered but here goes....

We are staying in the CR MK tower. I understand there are computers in all the rooms??? If I needed to download pictures from a camera, can I do it on this computer and then save them to a flash drive? I don't want to have to bring a laptop.:goodvibes
