Does anyone know if all the theme park view 2Q rooms in the main tower have Incredibles theming?

I remember reading awhile back that they were doing renovations on the balconies. Is that still going on?

Can any club level experts let me know how long you have access on check-out day and how early we can use it on check-in day? We’ll be at MK the day we check out and are planning to pop back over to CR for a break and maybe some pool time - could we still use the club after checkout time?

How is the lounge around fireworks time? Is it feasible to get a spot on the balcony - DH and I have enjoyed the fireworks from CA Grill a few times in the past, but we’ll have the kiddos with us so the lounge seems like it might be a better option for this trip :)

We’ve currently got a Garden Wing room booked, but I got to thinking how we’d really like the be in the tower, then after that upgrade club level didn’t seem like that much more (gotta love Disney math!)

You have access upon arrival until lounge closing at 10p.

There are only a few chairs . I was by myself and got one, it’s tucked in the corner out of the way, There are 2 balconies ,each with chair. However the family there that night pulled a few chairs in front of the windows vs standing outside, There was room but the kids wanted to be inside vs outside, (can’t remember if it was a big or temperature ?) In general room for all to see. Most TPV people go their rooms .

Yep, love disney math. It gets crowded in the morning if trying to catch a rope drop. Later mornings it was quiet. 5p can be busy but the rest of the day usually quiet.

I can only speak to the Standard View Club level room in the Tower Club but our room was themed to Frozone!

Sorry, I guess I worded it wrong. I was thinking family, not movie. I meant the Tower club rooms don’t have the same Incredibles “Family” theme that the rest of the hotel rooms do. The king standard rooms are themed to Edna Mode & not as in your face as the other rooms are. Sorry for the confusion!

I liked they were a bit different! I don't know what the suites have though.

Do the Atrium Club rooms have the family theme? I am not sure which I am looking at in booking since it seems to just say “club level” but we’d have a room with 2 queens and a daybed. My kids love the family themeing, so want to manage expectations if needed

I’ve only stayed Tower Club, but from everything I read, the 12th floor Atrium club has the same family theme as the rest of the hotel. I think pictures on the booking page website are a clue to which floor you’re booking. If what I think is correct, this room would be Atrium Club

I just booked a 4 night trip for mid October and while I was really hoping to book an atrium club level room, there weren't any club level rooms available. What are the chances something opens up? Are there better times to check inventory to see if there has been a cancellation? I have a room only reservation as we have old tickets so I am not using a TA if that matters. Thanks!

People cancel any time of any day. Rooms go right back into inventory, they’re not held to be rereleased at a certain time. Just check whenever you think about it, even several times a day. However, packages must be paid at 30 days out, room only can be cancelled by 5 days for full refund. Some people think checking around the 5 & 30 day marks can show more inventory. I don’t know anyone who waits that long to cancel, except in emergency situations. So I’m kind of skeptical it happens that often.

October is sneaky busy with the proliferation of fall breaks, MNSSHP, better weather for the people who can’t take the summer heat, etc. And CR is a poplar home for folks during the party season. But it’s not like Atrium Club is all that hard to book, so keep checking. When I’m on the hunt for a room I just check every few days when time allows. And always use a private browser page/Incognito mode.

We were planning on being at the Grand next month but getting nervous about the construction. We were planning lots of pool days. Thinking about switching to the Contemporary. Is the pool open? Some recent videos suggested otherwise…

Pool is open. Although I would personally rate GF pools much > than CR’s pools.

Yes pools are lovely at the Grand. We will need to monitor the construction I suppose. Thank you!

Yeah, with a bunch of walls/work going on around the main building I totally get it. I didn’t mind staying GF when it was just one outer building at a time but now with stuff at the centerpiece of your daily comings/goings, it’s a tougher call. I like GF when it’s the full package but not sure I like it enough to stay there while the main building work is occurring.

There is also a great 35%off rate CL for our dates at the CR which makes CR tempting :)
