Does it get crowded with all the people choosing to do this? We're staying at BLT, and I'm just wondering if it crowds the bridge to the point that you can't get through. We'll have to plan accordingly, if so.

It was not crowded at all! It's a pretty long bridge but even still there were not that many people there watching Wishes. You should have no problems getting through.

In the middle of November? Switched to CR due to pool rehab at WL. Then learned that WL guests will be permitted to use CR pool. Anyone familiar with the CR pool think this will be a problem, or do you think CR pool can handle the overflow? I can't see too many WL guests using the FR pool...hassle to get there. But I can see folks tossing swimsuits in their bags and swinging by CR for a dip. Where will they change and redress? Will it burden the bathrooms by the pool? Will it burden the QS restaurants, because presumably their rapid refill mugs will be honored as well.

WL Main Pool closed 9/3/2014- 11/27/2014. Guests may use the pool at Fort Wilderness or the Contemporary. Transportation will be provided.

Official. But the right to use CR and WL pools was no revealed until AFTER I booked us at CR so I am not happy either.

We moved because the Poly's pool was closed and they said NO to using another resort pool... but they are sending the WL folks to where we had to move to. Hopefully it won't actually matter.

First trip to WDW with family staying at the CR 10/05-10/11. It took us a long time to save for this vacation. I am really hoping that the overflow of guests from WL to use the CR pool will not be a problem. If so , I will be very frustrated.

I will be heading south soon so I apologize if I fall a bit behind here. I'll be sure to post some photos of CR/BLT next week and I'll be once again on the hunt for any CR resort branded merchandise. It's been so disappointing that they haven't had any in…forever?

No we never have gotten a Braille menu at Disney..man would that save me from reading! I usually read him the menus. We've been going over menus online too ahead of time which helps but is a pain.

All of these concerns are similar to the concerns some guests had when BLT opened. Guests worried that the CR pools and dining would be overrun, but there never seemed to be a problem due to BLT guests at CR. I suspect it will be the same for the couple of months WL guests may use the CR pool. Of those who do want pool access, I feel most will choose VWL and some will choose FW and CR. I really don't think it will be a problem at CR.

Welcome and I'll add your dates, too. Again, I don't think that the WL guests will make the CR noticeably more crowded.

wanted to throw this out; we usually stay in the Tower/Theme park view....we were there Memorial Day weekend as my daughter was dancing at WDW and stayed only one night in the CR but did a Garden room...

while the atmosphere was not the same I'll say i was very impressed with the room itself...the Bay View was beautiful, it was an easy walk to the tower, and an easier walk to the pool...

all things considered I give the Garden room a big thumbs up...

it won't be an issue....the main pool at the CR is deceptively large so people won't be swimming into one another...

We love the Garden Wing! We're the opposite of you - have several GW stays @CR under our belt and trying the tower for the first time in 2 weeks. Yay!!

actually we stayed at the old GW, the one that's now BLT, before moving to the Tower, but as you can tell that was years ago...

you'll love the tower!!! the atmosphere, the vibe and just the overall feeling is different from any Disney hotel (or hotel period) I've stayed at...congrats and have a ball!!

Thank you. I'm excited and almost ready to hit the road. I will definitely look through all the CR shops. The only thing I've bought in years is one of those Larry Dotson prints of CR which I have up in my office. Maybe this trip they'll actually have something…anything!

When we were there a couple of weeks ago the only thing I ever saw with the CR on it was a pin):
I could have missed something, but I don't think they sell any resort specific merchandise. I love my BC shirt I got last year, and when we went over to WL they had lots of resort stuff. The only thing close to it that I saw was a section of DVC items.
