I know it’s been said before but I can’t remember. If I have a breakfast reservation at The Wave, can I walk to MK after and leave the car at the Contemporary for the day?

We are lucky enough to be staying in a TPV studio for the 50th Anniversary - never stayed at BLT before, we are over the moon excited!

As for room requests, I know higher floors provide the best views - but are the rooms facing the MK instead of the Contemporary called north facing, or north wing? Just want to make sure to have our room request in line :)
North wing even numbered room. The north wing odd numbers face the inside fyi.

These photos popped up when I was looking for a club level room at Contemporary. Does anyone know what these rooms were? I've stayed in CL at Contemporary but never seen these. Are they photos of prior versions of rooms on one of the CL floors...or are they just placeholders until they release the photos of the refurbished rooms?

Those are the Tower cl rooms. There are 2 kings and 3 queens on that floor, the rest are suites.

Those are very old pictures.

Rooms getting remodeled now. Can’t wait to see what they do.

Those club rooms are on the 14th floor. They never had the option on line to book before - you always had to call. This was the first time I saw that so I booked it for my November trip! Atrium Club is on the 12th floor.

Thanks! I think we have only stayed on the other CL floor. SO ODD to post such old pix instead of just the usual "PHOTO COMING SOON."

Yeah, when Disney opened up suites and such for booking later last summer - rooms that were previously not available online, only by phone - the thumbnail photos they put up are totally old. The GF suites, BC suites, the CR suites, etc all have old thumbnails - for whatever reason!

Checked in yesterday at BLT. We drove over from a short stay at Bonnet Creek and got here at 6:30am so we could leave bags with bell services and make rope drop at MK. Bell services took forever to get here(the front desk cm at BLT too pity on us and actually starting to take our bags himself).

I had hoped to get a room number by mid afternoon so we could go and relax but we still didn’t have one by 4:30pm (that’s never happened to us). We walked back to BLT to witness a guy giving a CM a hard time about not having his room loudly while not wearing a mask (from the sounds he wouldn’t put it on even when informed he should have it on). Maybe he thought making a scene would get him what he wanted? He eventually stormed off.
I asked about our room. They spent a long time on the computer and phone, but it still wasn’t ready. We had a standard studio so I guess they don’t have many of those anyway. And they must not have many housekeepers? Not sure. Eventually we were informed housekeeping was in the room and it would probably take another 45 minutes. We did get a bit of pixie dust though and got a $100 credit applied to our account for the delay.

That was us 2 weeks ago. I arrived in the morning for a 2 bedroom TPV. Took all day. They said they were cleaning it. It’s hard to believe that many people arrived before us and got rooms before us.
It looked like a skeleton crew for maids while we were there.

Our CR trip in March was the same, we didn’t have any problems Aug/Oct/Dec or Jan. Last 2 took a long time.

So did I read/hear correctly that the CR arcade didn’t reopen yet, unlike the rest of the resorts?

Wouldn’t mind an on the ground report from anyone just back/there now if anyone happens to be there.

Thank you!
