Just back from CSR/GDT CL, another AMAZING stay!
Our last visit there was March 2025. That trip was when we noticed they were just starting to expand out some of the snack offerings. No huge changes on that front, they still have a rotating snack option which included corn chips with guacamole or salsa, mini bocadillo sandwiches, and paprika chips with garlic aioli.
Dinner was now on a 4 day rotation (although wasn't a consistent A/B/C/D pattern), rotating entrees included: Salmon cakes, Fideua pasta with shrimp, Rioja braised chicken, and Tuna Poke. My husband talked with Maddie about how the little jars makes it really hard to get a composed bite of the Tuna/pickled veggies/etc, and the possibility of putting it into small bowls instead; so fingers crossed to see that update in the future.
Breakfast entrees seemed the same as when we were last there, although there were a few fun new items in the pastry display, sweet bread slices were now mini loaves (banana chocolate and apple cinnamon) and there were amazing guava pockets as well as a similar option with apple.
A lot of familiar faces in the lounge, manager Maddie has been there almost a year and a half now, lots of excellent interactions with Jessica, Amy, Annette, Gigi, Lisa, Chichi, and so many others. For any who have met Rut on past visits, this past Saturday was her last day, as she's moving to another position over at the Riviera.
Saw a lot of Mickey Bars this time, which has not been the norm for us in past trips. Still a "ask and we'll check situation", not a guarantee, but at least this week they were plentiful.
Any questions feel free to ask!
Edit: adding a few pictures. My daughter is holding a preview of a Valentines’ mocktail coming next month.
