Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

My TA is telling me tower club/14th floor requests for Resort View CL rooms at Contemporary now have to be made in person at check in vs. calling ahead and noting on the reservation. This is the first I have ever heard of this- checking to see if others have experienced this. Thanks!

I was absolutely, positively, never ever going to pay those new Disney CL prices- and then I did.

Welp, I’m headed back to GDT CL and I’m excited to request my 4 shots of wine to fill a glass!! It’s not until Fall but we (me & sis, parents) liked GDT CL so much last year we’ve gone and booked it at almost (baby discount on one night) rack rate for Fall. I feel like I caved somehow but ultimately I do not care. I’m excited. We did some #DisneyMath and it made splurgy sense :teacher:

Keep checking - I know you already know that, ofc. It’s not over ‘til it’s over!! I think there’s only been one time I paid rack, and that was for only part of my stay.

Just returned from our first stay at BWI CL and we are so impressed! The lounge is beautiful, and it has so much natural light. The food was excellent and the staff were incredibly attentive. They never made us feel like we were imposing or as if they were too busy to be bothered. They did everything with a smile. They genuinely made us feel that they were happy to help. They replenished the foods well before they needed to be and I never once found an empty wine or champagne bottle. In fact, I once emptied one into my glass and before I could even set the empty bottle down, the young man was right behind me with a new one. While the lounge is small, we always found seating. It was very clean and well maintained. I am uncertain whether CL has dedicated Mousekeeping, but I will say that we spent one night in a standard room before CL, and the standard room was horrible. It was absolutely filthy and reeked of mildew so much that I could not even sleep. The CL rooms (we had two) were immaculate, they even cleaned under the bed every day and restocked with tons of products, it was definitely the best Mousekeeping we have had in 10+ years. Everyone working there was so friendly and welcoming.

I am so in love with RPC, but I have to say, that I was shocked at how well Innkeeper's Club compares. RPC has more selection in food (but not a ton more), and the lounge is much more spacious. I love the flow of it being in the main building with the shopping and bars and the monorail all right there under one roof. I love hearing the piano while I'm in the lounge. But that's where it ends for me. The service at Innkeeper's Club was just superior. Some of you might remember that I was unimpressed with some of the RPC service, and that in particular it was the younger CM's who were the ones just standing around talking most of the time and acting put out over requests such as whether they could please bring something that they should have already realized needed replenishing. I'm a mom to two young adults so I hate to bring their age into it, but it was pretty consistent. Innkeeper's Club has the same age distribution and those young adults were just fabulous. Never stopped working, and if they were talking to one another they were constantly scanning to see whether anyone needed them. If you walked in their direction they immediately asked how they could help, with a smile. They were all super upbeat. Innkeeper's Club also had a dedicated manager (Lene) there every day, I did not observe that at RPC. The quality of their food was just as good as RPC. The lounge is just as beautiful (on a much smaller scale), and was definitely cleaner. RPC consistently had multiple (6+) tables that needed to be cleared, along with kid messes of discarded food all over the floor for over 30 mins while CM's stood around chatting to one another. Innkeeper's Club CM's were so fast to clear plates and wipe tables and I never saw a single mess on the floor even though there were plenty of spirited kids eating there.

I didn't take any photos in the lounge but if anyone has any questions I would be more than happy to try and answer them! It was wonderful and I would definitely go back. For reference, out of everywhere that we have stayed, there have only been two places that I ever went to return to, GF and AKL, with Innkeeper's Club now being the third.
