No, it’s not the check in/room number email. It’s a separate email titled “Welcome to Disney’s XXY Resort!” I usually get it either check in day or the day after.

Tonight we had Ratatouille with polenta, shredded chicken & bao buns, quinoa salad, Waldorf salad, the typical charcuterie offerings. Desserts were strawberry cheesecake on a white chocolate “crust” key lime pie, cookies, & coconut macaroons.

I was excited to see Kristen from Wright Doen Main Street in the lounge tonight.

It must be. Anytime I call or have contact with CMs, the email is correct. After our May trip I booked bouncebacks for later in the year. I just got emails about them today, plus 1 for our GF stay next week. Get plenty from Disney store & DVC. I’ve always done all the after vacation surveys over the years, which I haven’t gotten in years either. I’ve never even write any complaints. It’s weird.

I'm the primary planner and contact and my email communications with the Walt Disney Company are also hit or miss. I never get AP emails or anything like that. The only consistent thing I get is DVC marketing

I tried SO many times to update preferences, speak with the AP help desk, speak with WDW internet help desk, etc and nothing fixes it.

My Disney account was so messed up that they had to "rebuild" it in 2017 because I had "too much information" and it wiped the whole thing when I was checking into a resort and all the FP+, ADRs, tickets, etc disappeared and I was freaking out. I had hoped that would fix it after it was restored, but still nothing

No advice on how to correct it, just reassurance you aren't the only Disney lover that's missing Mickey (e)mail.

Sorry about your account too. I read several reports about those things happening before 2020. I actually half expected that to happen to me too. Same like you. Everything is to my account, multiple vacations a year, often split stays, ADRs every day, FPs, tours etc. I haven’t heard anything about that the last 5 years. Hopefully they got that issue fixed.

You're right, I haven't heard about rebuilding accounts at all in recent years. I guess Disney realized some guests visit more than the "once in a lifetime trip" and needed larger profiles

Latest update. Apparently I’m only in the Resort Manager Naughty List. Here’s all the Disney Destination emails I’ve received so far this week:

Sunday- info on construction for our GF stay on the 7th

Monday- a Welcome to Your Stay for a POFQ reservation in November. This is a Bounce Back I made in May.
Also, a DVC email offering a gift card for taking a DVC tour.

Tuesday- 2 emails for an AllStar Sports reservation in December. This is another BounceBack made in May. One email is Welcome to your Stay & the other is Your Vacation is Approaching.
Also another DVC email reminding me of the gift card offer.
A Disney Visa Rewards email with a discount offer to stay at Aulani.

Wednesday- 2 emails for a Contempoary CL stay in October 2026, a Welcome to Your Stay & a Preparing for your vacation that includes a Countdown clock (416 days BTW). Also a BB I moved from this year to next, change made was Memorial Day weekend.

So far today- a Disney Destinations survey about our Studios visit yesterday
A 2nd Disney Destinations email announcing Zootopia Better Together opening date & info.

Got to WL around 9am. Asked if the CL add on was available for one and was told, “for one? always.” I’m only here for a two night stay before my extended family descends on Pop where I will move as well. She did ask me if I wanted it both nights, but I thought it was all or nothing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. So far so good but dinner tonight is a bit…lame not sure if that’s the right word. Salmon is very good but everything else is standard cheap buffet food - salads, crudite, cheese, pasta with meat sauce.

Edit: stale rolls and cold pasta (that isn’t supposed to be cold). I can’t believe I didn’t have the crab cakes at The Boathouse for this!

She was not a CP or not a new one at least. She was training a CP. Yes, it was $149. I’m glad you mentioned the cobbler as it’s a favorite of mine, and I totally forgot they have that here! I almost put on my pjs (I had a 4:30am SW board ), and that would have been game over.

Cobbler was peach/strawberry. It was lacking any strong flavor. Ice cream was good, and they had a vanilla cupcake with an orange frosting that was very tasty. They also had choc chip cookies, a vegan berries and cream, and a chocolate cupcake - all which I didn’t sample. I have yet to see the lounge crowded even though there were no CL rooms available 9/5-9/7 with any discount or just rack rate. It’s very chill and relaxing even if I’m apparently very picky!

Wine was good; cupcake was yummy, so I’d say that was a win. Here now for breakfast, and it’s still eerily quiet, not that I’m complaining!
