Do they have a freezer with ice cream treats available? I know they used to - ty
Yes, they wheel it out at desserts. It's been crazy hot here, even by FL standards. We've been asked at least 5 times each day if we want ice cream. Thats new for me but we are usually here in the winter. They've also been generously handing out water. Like you ask for 1 bottle and they bring you 4. I can't compliment the staff enough, everyone has been fantastic

While it is great for regular or returning CL Guests, how are new CL Guests supposed to know this? Do they have a posted list of on-demand / request offerings?

Dave
In our experience, the CM’s will typically ask if they can get you anything, and will give suggestions such as an alcoholic beverage or ice cream.

The wife and I will be check into a Cottage at the Boardwalk 7/30. Does anyone have updated info?
Not really updated. However do you know about the few that don’t have a garden but do have a 2nd floor balcony?

Here for the ears did videos of both versions.

Other than that you can walk up stairs to the cl lounge or use the elevator. The rooms have been refurbed so no change there for a while.

BWI cl lounge itself has some new napkins and glassware etc. a friend showed me last month.

Enjoy ! It’s on in my list to try!

Ok, I’ll bite! Any new offerings?! Did you get any good mystery drinks from Francisco since you got there?!? Having fun?
We had Durban chicken and corn pudding last night. I do not remember this pairing, could be new, but maybe we somehow always miss this night? We also had seafood stew, aka gumbo. That, I do remember. The salads were directly from Boma, watermelon, tomato, feta and curry pasta salad. I love those two. The kids option was mac and cheese

Yeah, they’ve had that in the past. Wish they changed up the evening offerings. 😒

Does anyone know where the 2 bedroom suites are located at Boardwalk?
Yes there are (4) of them at the BWI, and all of them are located in the Inn Keeper's Club (CL) on the 4th floor. (3) of them overlook the Inner Courtyard, and the quite pool.

The remaining 2 BR Suite is located down past the Cake Bake Shop (CBS) at the Epcot end of the boardwalk, and it overlooks the canal, back of Epcot / Trees with a slight view of the Skyliner.

@trishadono - I'm replying to your Poly thread post as it's a little more applicable here. I was at Poly CL over 7/4. Not sure when they did this (may not be new) but they had moved that big table in the lounge over towards the stairs (replacing the chairs/tables that were in that area) and have left a rather big open area in that space where the kids TV used to be pre-renovation and instead put a freezer with ice cream treats that seemed stocked all day. I couldn't really understand the intent here, at first I thought maybe it was just for 7/4 and the extra crowding the lounge gets but maybe it was permanent? Space to park strollers? Space to just stand/gather?

We've gotten to the point where Poly CL is mostly just a coffee, breakfast, and beer CL for us. We're on the go/out and about more these days so less 'around' the lounge the way we would have been years ago. And as my years of having littles fades I seem to notice the lounge crowding/noise/chaos more and more. :-)

Have fun on your trip!

I will be at Poly club at the end of August. I am expecting tons of crowds everywhere at Poly including club level since D23 is coming up. I will try and take pics. I only take pics if no one is there. At that spot. I do not want people i do not know in my pics if i am making sense to you all. Trying to be respectful of others.

I'm totally with you there, I don't take pics when others are around or in the pictures and always cringe a bit when I see it around here. With so many bloggers/vloggers/whatever these days it's sort of become "accepted" people filming or taking pics just seem to be everywhere, but I don't necessarily like it. :-)

I used to take a lot more CL pics in our travels when my kids were younger and we were often "around" the lounges in off hours and over the course of a stay I could document more things. Much harder these days so I don't tend to post as much.

Enjoy your Poly stay - I've never done a D23 event (although I'm a member) but it's always peaked my interest a bit when they're at WDW.

Returned from a stay at BWI CL. We were there from 7/11 - 7/19. It's been awhile since we've done CL, but we have done it at WL, BC, YC and Poly for comparison.
I'm not quite sure why I've put off staying at BWI for so long (probably due to the clown pool that no longer exists, LOL) but we LOVED our stay there. I would say that it's tied for 2nd place with AKL for our family favorite. GF is number 1!
The staff at BWI CL was wonderful. Super helpful and super on top of keeping the place clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed our interactions with Lorenzo - what a character!
The food options were nice. I really like that breakfast was more than the standard muffins, croissants, etc... They did have this but they also had a rotation of eggs, different quiches, bacon, ham and sausage. There were cereals and yogurts available as well. The evening options rotated between items such as pulled pork sandwiches, mac n cheese, beefy mac, pork belly and mashed potatoes (yum!), chicken bao buns. I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
Our room was 2 doors down from the lounge so it was a super convenient location.
I'm not sure why, but the walk to Epcot and HS seems so much shorter from BWI than BC/YC.
Anyway, it was a great stay and we will definitely do BWI again!

May I ask, were they scanning MB’s at the pool?

Oh thx for the heads up!

I did notice with each trip they had fewer and fewer chairs/breakage,

Too cheap to replace I guess?

Ya this trip breakfast and drinks will do but dd really was looking forward to the sundaes.

I did D23 2023. It was at CR and we stayed at GF in a resort room. Many people stayed at CR but I did see a few people on the monorail etc but didn’t really impact anything. The event itself is so time consuming! I skipped out on some to enjoy GF. Dd met her friends that also attended so that worked fine.
