Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Good morning from WL CL!!! 🄳

So excited to see these photos! My husband and I will be trying CL for the first time in May! We have been to WL before and absolutely love it, but this will be a whole new wonderful! What are the favorite rooms of CL regulars? Counting down for a mostly resort stay (only 2 park days) and looking to take advantage of the lounge and lounging by the pool with drinks. Can we take a cordial to the pool in the evening/perhaps in a different pool friendly cup? Any tips on getting the most out of our dream and much needed vacation CL?

What type of room did you reserve as that will guide the suggestions?

Can we take a cordial to the pool in the evening/perhaps in a different pool friendly cup?
Yes and even during the day for beer and wine selections. The CL CMs will give you a to-go cup for use at the pool since there is not glass allowed.

OK now would you prefer to look out at the upper courtyard or a view that includes High Fireworks from MK?

Dave
Honestly, I would imagine all the rooms would be lovely. I do not have a specific preference, what would be your thoughts?

We hope to add club level access to our WL trip in February. We love the Old Faithful Club. It has good food, friendly CM's and a great view of the lobby from the lounge. We get the most value from the lounge by eating both breakfast and dinner there. And of course, I have to have dessert, too. Then we usually have a table service lunch somewhere else.

As far as the rooms go on the 7th floor, almost all of them have the deep dormer balconies that you have to stand to see out of. I like to watch the fireworks, so I would request a resort view rather than the courtyard. :) I'm not a fan of the dormer balconies, so we book a regular room and add club level if we are traveling without extended family.

Lol, when you are right, you're right. Do you request a specific room there?

I haven’t stayed CL @ WL. But we’ve stayed CL at YC, BC, BWI, CR & GF. In the 32 years we’ve been going to WDW, I have very rarely made any room requests for CL or regular rooms. Good thing, because I’ve not gotten the very few requests I’ve made anyway.

do they have berries at breakfast? anything that stood out? We usually did yacht club so I barely remember breach club.
Yes, they usually have strawberries, grapes, pineapple and blueberries, etc. YC and BC CL is virtually identical. Try searching BC CL in the advanced search and there should be lots of pics and posts a handful of pages back. Several posters had trips there within the last 6-12 months and posted lots of pics. You can look at YC or BC pics bc they are pretty much the same. Try checking out recent YouTube videos as well.

Thank you so much for your reply! Yes, I have been looking and chatting with DH and the thought of looking over the pool seems so nice. Maybe a request for that would be good. We definitely plan on the breakfast each morning and evening apps. Dessert looks amazing. With only 2 park days for the week we are there, we look forward to relaxing and both love spending days at the pool. Husband has a stressful job, so a whole lot of nothing appeals to him along with cribbage by the pool. Thank you!

The CL rooms on the 7th floor don't really overlook the pool but the upper courtyard. Yes you will be able to see the pool and even Bay Lake if your stand and look out of the left side of your balcony. I would suggest a range of room requests for a room in the range of 7043 - 7051 (odd number rooms).

There are 2 pools at the WL, Copper Creek Springs in the courtyard with a small slide where most of the action is located, and Boulder Ridge Cove which is a Zero entry quite pool just past the south wing of the main lodge. This second pool is adjacent to the Geyser Point Bar & Grill a Table Service restaurant that does not accept ADR but is it is very easy to order to-go drinks and food. They also offer an online walk-up list that you can join from your MDE app.
