Great view! I remember when the GF opened in 88 or 89, and we stayed in 4421, the Honeymoon turret, from the beginning and many times afterwards, including when we had our daughter and they rolled in a crib or cot when she was bigger, the castle view was just like that; however, after many years, and the trees in the courtyard grew taller and taller, and they masked the castle; when we had her wedding at the GF in 2008, and made a dessert party the night before at the GF marina, we had that view again and the castle and fireworls with sound piped in was reminiscent of the early days there;

Hello! We have booked a split WL Deluxe Room & BW Deluxe Room. We are new to both. Are these rooms located on the same floor as the lounges? Are ther any good room request we should think about?

We have booked a split WL Deluxe Room & BW Deluxe Room. We are new to both. Are these rooms located on the same floor as the lounges?

For the WL Deluxe rooms they are not on the CL floor which is Floor 7. The Deluxe rooms are on floor 1-6, 2 per floor at the end of the lodge overlooking Bay Lake. For the BWI 5 are located on the 4th floor very near the lounge. However there are 5 Deluxe rooms on the 3rd floor.

You will need to use the stairs or an Elevator to reach the Old Faithful Club at the WL on the 7th floor.

Its my partner's favorite club level lounge. I like it too. Excellent staff and good variety of foods and drinks

Good morning from the Old Faithful Club! We got here last night and have very much enjoyed the lounge so far. Tree is still up until Jan. 6th, per a CM. We watched fireworks from the lounge balcony and enjoyed the desserts

Does WL still have water bottles on request?

I like the lounge after the remodel. It’s so pretty! Great staff. Also there’s a restroom there which can be convenient arrival and departure days, Not all cl’s; have that,

Here’s some pictures from New Year’s Eve in RPC! The prime rib and mashed potatoes were every bit as good as what you would get at a nice restaurant. I don’t post food pictures from the lounges often because they don’t tend to change much, and other people post them on here, but there were a couple of new ones to me…the brussel sprouts and the ginger glazed pork. There were a couple other new ones on different nights too (I loved the potato cake with prime rib). The brussel sprouts were delicious too, and I don’t typically like those! The mashed potatoes were not new but some of the best I’ve had! They’ve had the prime rib on NYE the past few years, but I think it was better this year! I’m not sure what chef was in charge NYE, but there is a new chef named George in RPC that has been there around a month he said, and he has really improved some of the options (some new offerings and some old ones he just made better)! As a fun side note, Ariana Grande’s mom and brother (Frankie Grande who apparently is in the new Henry Danger movie that is coming out) were there NYE, and they seemed like nice people! They actually joined the table of people behind us who were playing black jack! Evidently Jodi Benson (the little mermaid voice actress) was staying there too because I was talking to her husband for a few minutes one morning, and he had to explain to me who she was when he introduced himself to me. I was a bit embarrassed since I’m a Disney fan, but I’m really bad with names! She was there for the candlelight processional and then apparently went to the parks with her family, which explains why there were two VIP tour guides in the lounge eating appetizers in RPC a couple of nights!

Hi Dispro thanks for posting the pics. We have 3 nights RPC after our cruise in February, happy to hear they have improved the offerings. Between the renovations and lack of discounts it's been a couple of years since we have stayed there. Can't wait to back.

@Dispro1 thanks for the RPC update. Was NY Eve the only day with a chef carved meat? We were at RPC in September & CR Tower club for Christmas. Neither had a chef carving. Tower Club didn’t seem to have anything special for Christmas.
