On our recent stay at the Boardwalk, we learned that Manager Cosmo Kapoor was sent to the Animal Kingdom Lodge this summer! We expect good things to come.... He was originally the manager at the Grand Floridian, then sent to Disneyland Hotel, now back in WDW. Our family met him at RPC a few years back and he was so warm and cared about the guests. He added the Disney touch with humility! He once was quoted in an article about being a Manager, “Honor: build a sense of pride within your team. Humbleness/Humility: take the time to learn, listen, and be a team player, allowing people to take risks. Creativity happens when people make mistakes and learn from them. Humor: it builds camaraderie and makes memories.”
Awe miss you this year!
Happy Thanksgiving! Please tell your family the same!!! Missed seeing you, too!!Awe miss you this year!

What a beautiful spread! Any leftovers just put by the side door and we will be there! LOL Seriously, are you having a good stay? Is it very crowded for Thanksgiving Weekend? Thanks again, for your photos!
I did not get here until Wednesday night, but the lounge itself wasn’t terrible yesterday. Definitely full for breakfast and for evening hours. What a beautiful spread! lol it’s hard for me to answer that. I honestly do not eat any of the hot apps here (some due to allergies, but mostly because I just wouldn’t eat them if I could! How would you rank AKL club food vs. the other CL?
This is a very interesting tidbit! We have stayed AKL CL too many times to count and it's always been good but last month it was definitely a step above previous stays. We felt so welcomed and everyone really went above and beyond. On our recent stay at the Boardwalk, we learned that Manager Cosmo Kapoor was sent to the Animal Kingdom Lodge this summer! If you like Boma, Sanaa, etc you will really like the food. They have some very common foods, cheese, veggies, meatballs, etc but also many foods that lean African. Sunday night is always butter chicken and its a family favorite. The tomato soup that night is also wonderful. It's really tough to rank it vs others because they'll all unique. I will say WL serves the most hearty foods. They honestly serve more of a dinner vs apps in the evenings. How would you rank AKL club food vs. the other CL?
Unfortunately, only a few DVC rooms are on the same floor as the lounge. If not DVC, you will be on another floor.I have never really had much interest in staying at AKL but the photos from @mrsap are making me rethink that!
Are the club level rooms and suites located on the same floor as the club lounge? When I look it up on MDE every club category says Club Level "Access" which makes me suspect that the rooms aren't all that convenient to the lounge.
Thank you. That's what I suspected after looking up the room categories. I was becoming interested but I prioritize easy lounge access.Unfortunately, only a few DVC rooms are on the same floor as the lounge. If not DVC, you will be on another floor.
