Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

We got chocolates at YC and they had a fluffy robe and monogrammed slippers At CR we had macaroons once and other times they gave a small Incredibles lithograph. They also had the basic thin robe and slippers.

What is the current beer and wine situation at YC? Are drinks still being handed to you by staff? Last time I was there, I felt very
judged every time I asked for a glass of something. It put me off to the point that I won't go back there again until it is self serve
alchohol.

Checking in from YC. We were at POFQ the night before & went to MK. Got room ready text about 2:30, as we were heading to hotel. Got the room location I wanted. Went to front desk on arrival, said we were club level, the CM called up to them & CM came down to get us. First surprise, the slippers now have the YC logo! Pictures of evening apps.

Love your slippers!! I hope they all get these back soon. I really miss these at Poly. I may have a few pair that I save for my CL trips :teeth:

Thank you so much for all of your posting concerning the food and your experience at the YC CL. I really appreciate your experience and what you think about the changes if any the YC has made. I can see from your pics there are been some changes to the food and the slippers. In the recent past my experience did not have the lids on the hot foods and you seems to have more snacks midday than I have had over the last few years. Let’s hope they continue to improve. I also see that there are no club level rooms available from Jan 1 to Feb 17 2025 so I am assuming that the lounge and some rooms may be getting a makeover. I am looking at March 2025 for my next trip. Thanks again

Have an upcoming resort view stay and we received our 1st call from CR CL at 60 days to offer general info and assistance with planning/booking. We received another welcome call today for our stay beginning this Saturday regarding any changes to itinerary, arrival time, allergies, etc. He reviewed the whole check in procedure, chuckling as he discussed how they SHOULD be notified when we arrive at security and how our MagicBands SHOULD work for elevator access if we preferred online check-in instead, but then also stated that sometimes what SHOULD happen, doesn't. He reported that the front desk or those "wandering around" with IPADs SHOULD be readily available if needed, but then he also made me repeat his number from Caller ID back to him and told us to call with any issues or delays during check in or to "just call if we felt like it" and that they would ensure everything was set up to work as it SHOULD. I have to say, I was super impressed. Extremely nice touch--never had this happen before! We would almost definitely navigate any potential problems with check in on our own, but his candor and sincerity when making the offer were definitely appreciated. Got us even more excited for our stay next week!

We did have a bit of a glitch this evening. There have been some pretty strong storms. Yesterday especially the rain was hitting the whole balcony & there was water ponding out there. This evening I noticed a small puddle on the floor near the sliding door. As I stepped on the floor, more water oozed from under the floor tile. I notified the CL CM who reported it. They ended up needing to take the room out of service & we had to move. We had put in a room request & got the room right next to it, very close to the lounge but not noisy & straight on view of the lighthouse. I was unhappy at first to have to move down to the hall away from the lounge. But I really don’t want to be in a room with hidden water & things getting musty/ moldy.

The maintenance CM & Elena from CL were great, very apologetic, offering bell services assistance if needed for the move. Maintenance is refunding half a night’s rate for the inconvenience. As we were packing up to move, my husband asked if I wanted him to pack up the slippers from the closet. I said absolutely! ;)

We did have time for desserts from the lounge after we moved. The red velvet cupcake was delicious. Sorry, didn’t get any pictures. :rotfl:

So sorry about the room problem I’m glad you got a good resolution. I remember Elena, she was great—very helpful and nice.

Sorrry to hear that. I found the CM lounge manager very helpful to us on previous trips with room problems and moving us to a better location and getting reimbursements. Very pleased. Hyincith was her name. Sorry about the spelling.

A bit jealous ;-) but looking forward to your report!

Also, does anyone know about the Deluxe rooms at RPC that have 2 Queens? Where are they located, what view they have, do they all have a single-bed couch? I found one recent walk-through video on YouTube, but the pics and info on the Disney site is old.
They have 2 queens and a queen sleeper. Unfortunately the rooms can only be booked for 1-4 persons.

Attached is a map of RPC. Rooms 4x19, 4x20, 4x22 are the deluxe queens. My pics are the 4x22 version.

I forgot, we did get a small box of chocolates in the room on check in. We have gotten it before, I can’t remember if only on CL or in the regular rooms too.

Chocolate is one of my two favorite things. 😊 (Coffee being the other one.) I hope we get chocolates for our GF RPC stay! But then my friend and I will have to fight over them. 😄

I'm sorry to hear about your water issue, but that's great that they fixed it quickly AND gave you a partial refund. Hope the rest of your trip is uneventful!

Hey, now that I've mentioned coffee, it occurs to me that you all might be able to answer a question for me! I am, truly, a coffee addict, and more specifically, a cappuccino addict. I visited my parents in Italy in 2000, where I discovered the joy that is Italian cappuccino, and I have been a coffee snob ever since. I make a big cup (bowl) of capp every morning using Kimbo coffee that I have shipped in from Italy. 😆 So my question for you all is...what is the coffee situation like in club level across Disneyworld? Any chance they have an espresso maker with a frothing attachment in the club lounges? 😉 I can bring my own grounds if needed, lol!
