Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Strange question but the picture of the slippers made me think of it. Those slippers while a nice touch are rather flimsy (or have been in the past). I have always wondered if they throw them away after use or do they simply launder them, seal them back up and reuse them? Does anyone know?
 
Checking in from YC. We were at POFQ the night before & went to MK. Got room ready text about 2:30, as we were heading to hotel. Got the room location I wanted. Went to front desk on arrival, said we were club level, the CM called up to them & CM came down to get us. First surprise, the slippers now have the YC logo! Pictures of evening apps.

Looks great. I LOVE those slippers! Curious what the strawberry and simple syrups were for?
 
I noticed the ice cream freezer was gone. But there is a sign saying they’re available on request. Also, this morning there was OJ & POG juice! The lounge is pretty quiet so far, maybe 2 other parties Vit last evening at 6 & this morning at about 8. CMs as always, very friendly & attentive.

Just got off the phone with DSS and the CM was great. She emailed me a special dietary request form to fill out and said that Poly CL asks for it to be sent back 2 weeks prior to check in. But she also put a note on our reservation about the allergy and said Poly CL will be in touch with me to confirm a few days prior to check in, but before the cruise.
 
We check into YC CL Tuesday. I got a prearrival call from a CM there yesterday, asking about food allergies, what time we’ll arrive, if there’s anything we need now etc. He also specifically said our MBs won’t work for the elevator until they’re set. That we should let a front desk or lobby CM know we’re checking in CL so they can escort us up.
Enjoying your pics! I received a pre-arrival call on Saturday when I could not take the call, and when I was able to call back, I got generic Cast Services and they weren't really sure what to do for me, lol. I assume the original call was from someone at the GF who was going to do the same that they did for you, arrival time, food allergies, etc. I'm glad to know I didn't miss too much, although I would have enjoyed the personal connection if I could have taken the call! I guess I'll just have to wait four more days, lol.

If they have been opened, they are thrown away.
 
I was never sure either, wasn’t sure if I was to leave them or could take them with me. I asked on this thread & was told they’re tosses if used, so last time I took with me to the next hotel.

They are a larger size, a little too big for me.

Also, is there supposed to be a welcome gift in CL rooms?
I am asking because neither of these was offered with our Jambo CL stay this past April, but if they are part of the package I will be sure to ask.

No welcome gift I've ever received (though sometimes if it's indicated that you are celebrating something, they may put balloons or a card in the room). I've found the slippers to be hit or miss (however I don't stay CL often). They used to be generic white slippers so I really didn't care. Nice they are branded now! I believe that is newer.

Last year at BWI they gave us a little package of taffy, maybe 3 or 4 pieces. Shipped from a taffy store at the NJ store. Taffy may be the wrong name. That chewy candy made at beach towns.
