Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread


We don’t know how it will affect the lounge yet.
It was posted on another site that the Stone Harbor CL Lounge (BC) closed April 15th at 11 AM (Check-out) time. No updates since then about how long or what was planned. It also mentioned that snacks and drinks would be available "to-go".

Another site mentioned it would be closed until May 15th.

The Disney Site still only has the BCV post. This Resort hotel is undergoing refurbishments.
As our Resort hotel refurbishments continue, you may see or hear construction during daytime hours.

Disney’s Beach Club & Villas Refurbishment
From January 7, 2023 through late this fall, Disney’s Beach Club Villas will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Resort amenities will remain available for your enjoyment. While you may see or hear construction during daytime hours, you should not hear noise from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 AM.

Yes, I saw & mentioned what other sites posted. But we haven’t had real time posts here from anyone actually effected. Until then, I take everything with a grain of salt.
 
Moved over from WL today to the Yacht. Got a wonderful surprise. We booked with and annual pass discount a garden view. While checking in the nice lady asked if we minded a standard view room on 5th floor. I asked her to repeat it cuz i wasn’t sure she said 5th floor. My mind was only going to standard view word she said in her sentence. She repeated her sentence again and added the room is ready now. My mom understood and said “ oh my gosh ! Yes please!”

We got pixie dusted! I got teared eye! Call me a cryer of happiness!

And last nite for supper at the Yacht I forgot to take pictures. It was yummy! For kids they had hotdogs. And then they had salmon, and chicken tacos. The tacos were amazing! They also had some salad and then tons of veggies for dipping. Like the normal broccoli, cucumber, carrots, celery and asparagus. And apples with caramel dipping sauce. 3 types of bread and some meat and cheeses. They still pour the wine for you but it has bern moved to where the kids tv and chairs are. I also think the nespresso machine is a new one. Looks more digital if that makes sense.
 
Random, but I feel like I'm always holding up the line at the Nespresso machine. I'm really sorry, but I lose all mechanical ability and common sense when it is my turn. Please don't judge the incapable people like me too harshly. :D

Every morning there was a line at the Nespresso machine at AKL in Dec., but it seemed that most were first time users and didn’t know how to work it… I think most people understood, though. If there was a line, I’d get regular coffee and wait till everyone was gone to go back to get one. The mimosa/pogmosa I ordered usually came out first, so then I’d just skip the Nespresso. First world problems 😂 😇🥂

I have no clue how to operate that terrifying machine! I usually stick with nondairy/almond milk and bring my own little hand frother (I’m that nerd, yes), and I’m always thankful I don’t have to figure that beast out!

I'm a hardcore resort changer, depending on discount availability. This would undoubtedly be my RPC "once and done" though... I'd like to keep it....

Girl, same - 2 days RPC solo (week after Thanksgiving), 2 days 2BR CR suite. The numbers make me hyperventilate a lil bit. But ohhhhh, so fun! RPC will (hopefully) be newly reopened then, so I’m keeping that unless things are in complete disarray at GF!

So it sounds like a CM will call you a week or two before your stay. What is the point of this call - just to make you feel special?? Is there anything you have requested or found out from this call?? I’m wondering if I should have requests ready or anything. Ex, can these CMs plan to help me get extra pillows? 😊💤

The CL CM's tend to be excellent CM's. Not all, but most of them. They are often a wealth of general information about WDW, and WDW is complicated. They aren't perfect in being able to answer every question I've ever had, but I have given them some wild challenges, and I'm often impressed with their vast knowledge of WDW.

Examples of ways they can be helpful:
1. You booked an early morning ADR, and don't know your transportation options.
2. You have medication that needs to be kept cold.
3. You need to have an item delivered to you.
4. You want to book BG/G+, and don't understand all the details of how to use it.

These are just a few examples of the type of (last minute) question CL CM's can quickly answer.

On my most recent CL stay, the Nespresso machine had a helpful note: Make sure the pod edges are flat/straight, not bent. First time I saw that note, and very helpful!

My usual is to get an espresso, then fill my cup with regular coffee + milk.

My 2nd rule of thumb: any time I find the Nespresso machine confusing, I interpret that to = a double espresso day!
