Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Hello! My partner and I stayed at YC CL in February 2022. It was so nice; first time in CL. I didn't realize how much I needed to get away in the dead of winter. Plus, my birthday is right around there and I get so down around my birthday. Anyway, we are going again February 2023 (Arts was amazing!) but are staying Poly CL. What are your thoughts or should I try BC? I love BC and the Epcot area resorts, but wanted to try something different. My partner is excited for the easy access to dole whips, though! Thank you for your time and thoughts.
I think you should stick with Poly. BC and YC pretty much share everything. I prefer YC overall to BC. Our best CL stay to date was Poly. Easy access to MK (monorail or boat) and a quick monorail ride to epcot. CL is in the Hawaii building which is close to the TTC. I'm staying BWI CL in a couple of weeks. While I love Epcot area, I dread the bus home from MK after the party or a late night at MK. When we stayed BC we took the Minnie vans back from MK and joked it was the best money we spent that week 🤣 I love epcot but do miss being on the monorail line.

September I have one night Poly cl followed by 3 at CR TPV Atrium CL. I have MNSSHP booked both 9/9 and 9/11. It will be me and my usual dd27 mom n me trip with a friend coming for her 1st trip.

My dilemma? I want the mnsshp dessert party with seating. Dd and I did our 1st party in March. What I loved was sitting and watching the sunset. Having adult beverages handy and some food items other than sweets like fruit n cheese was nice too.

2016-19 dd and I started going to mnsshp. Went went 2 times each year because we loved it! For me I enjoy the boo parade, Sanderson sisters, Halloween fireworks. Getting pix and riding HM and SM. Getting candy is nice but not as important.

I did the tonys add on in 2019 and loved that I could sit and cool down . However I snagged a seat on the patio and realized just watching people and relaxing with wine in hand was wonderful.

I think the party will work. I am just checking to see if anyone can confirm my timeline?

If fireworks 10:15 I think party starts 9:15. We would have time to do rides. Watch SS 8:30. Get pix etc and be in line for dessert party. Can we see the parade from there? We can leave so I could listen for it and when near hub run out to see then come back?

Fireworks done 10:30ish and still have til midnight to see 2nd parade and ss is needed, more rides etc. I think I need that hour to sit and regroup but with CL at 5p and heading over dd thinks not.

Anybody do one of these parties and tell me how it worked with mnsshp vs a regular park day? Is it better or being so late not as good?

Thanks in advance!🎃Boo to you!

I’m grabbing tix for our party on 8/26. I may wind up guarding our table (eg, sitting with wine) while DS takes her daughter around a bit, but I think we’ll be happy to have a place to sit for fireworks. I know I will!! I recall 2019 was crowded. That said, we may not hit 5 pm CL apps on our party night, or not for long.

I assume these will be like regular dessert party tix that are refundable up to a point. If that’s true, the smartest approach would be to join the scrum and snag them if possible on 8/9 (wonder what time? 6 am EST?) and then watch for reports and let one or both go if you wish. I’ll let you know how ours went.

I *think it is a 5 day cancel. That would help with checking on weather forecasts at least. I think I have convinced myself lol. I will try to book both nights and see if I get one.

The dining times to book keep changing! Is it 5:45a now? anyone ?

Argh. 5:45 est is…not pleasant out in California. If only I could rely on DS to get tix. The things I will do and cash I will blow to sit and drink wine while watching fireworks!!! Shameful.

I’d split it! I love a EP/MK resort split, it’s like getting the best of both worlds.

Wait, I missed this. There’s a specific dessert party for the Halloween party? And tickets aren’t released yet? Can you point me to info? Thanks!
That depends on what day you’re after and whether I’m competing against you 😂!!

Just announced…yesterday or the day before?? There are seated and garden viewing parties, scroll down and click through. Tix for sale 8/9. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/magic-kingdom/mickeys-not-so-scary-halloween-party/

Yes indeed!

Also I had forgotten but dd watched for it and tinker bell flew right OVER US!

Here are pix for non Halloween version from March . Should be similar offerings based on info

We just did this again over July 4th week. I still have a love/hate relationship with it.
It's nice to be seated, have some rather decent wine and pretty tasty desserts. I liked more of them than I used to.
It's nice to be away from the crowds
It's not nice to miss the projections
I don't like how the overhang blocks so much of the high bursts of the fireworks, even if you are up against the rail. I think there's one table that sees the majority of them, down closer to the check in point for the garden area parties.

The one time we did it there was intermittent rain, and I was sooooo happy to be undercover!

I am planning on doing the party when I go to MNSSHP I’m late October, I enjoy the dessert parties anyway, and know I’ll want a chance to rest and not fight for a fireworks spot. I plan on doing the 2nd parade (which is what I usually do), I have no clue if you can see the entire parade over heads there or not so I’m not banking on it. This is my first time even seeing the dessert party for a MNSSHP event (I probably just wasn’t paying attention, but oh well) so no clue how they work it with timing, but I was thinking an hour or so before fireworks too just like the regular dessert party. I’m not doing CL on this trip so I’m not thinking about that, but in the past I’ve not eaten in the lounge before the party since I like to try all the party only treats.

OT but do they still assign seats or is it first come, first serve? Haven’t done one since Pre-Covid!
They usually assign seats, we always get walked to the table and they put the little “reserved” sign on it. No clue if getting there earlier gets a better seat or not, it always seems semi random to me.

@KrazeeK120 looking at the menu, it has been identical to what YC has been providing. I was wondering though, for breakfast it mentions assorted meats-which YC no longer has. Our last stay there was smoked salmon, ham, cheese etc offered at breakfast, but this time there was none of that. Has BC been providing that to you at breakfast?
