Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

A one bedroom suite or a 2 bedroom suite both would include CL access.

The one bedroom has 2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa. The 2 bedroom has 1 King Bed and 2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa.

Dave

Okay thank you! :) I had assumed it would have room choices like Poly, GF etc

I understand why you might make that very logical assumption. However the AKL and the WL have smaller guest rooms than the other Deluxe resorts. While most of the other deluxe resorts have many rooms that sleep 5 guests with a 2 Queen Beds and 1 Sleeper Sofa or daybed configuration.

I will email AKL and ask about the bunkbeds.

Your question about the bunk beds has been answered... but just FYI since you said your last trip was 2013... they replaced the resort-specific Itenerary Planning Offices a few years ago with a centralized service called Disney Signature Services that serves all of the resort CLs (in addition to some other functions). So, you can’t “e-mail AKL” like you used to be able to do.

While you can e-mail Disney Signature Servies, in my experience they don’t have the same level of “connection” with the actual resorts so may not always be trained / have the right information regarding resort-specific details.

You can find their e-mail and phone number on this page: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/signature-services/

I hope your rescheduled trip works out for you. I lost a cruise through all of this mess as well.

Maybe it’s the depression talking but I’m thinking about two whole weeks at the World next year, which I never thought I’d do. What’s 4 more days in the scheme of things? Even more time to enjoy the resorts, and maybe have a more even split between Poly and GF.

Thank you to everyone that took time out to help with my planning. I truly appreciate it.

Glad you got some helpful information. If you have any other questions/concerns, don't be afraid to ask :goodvibes.

That would be an awesome trip! :wizard:

You should definitely do that! Sounds amazing!

The longer the better!!! And a split stay is exactly what I’d do! I love a change of scenery! Feels like you’re on two vacations in one! Have fun planning!

That's a great idea. We normally do 8 nights but this summer we only have 7. At this point it looks like it will be a 2021 trip😔 even if it's open in August my husband is worried. We have to wait and see. If we do have to wait I think we'll do 9 or 10 nights. Thanks for the idea 💡

I'm sorry your August trip might not go, but it's understandable as there's so much uncertainty right now. I do like the idea of adding a couple of nights to a 2021 trip. Things will work out and we will all be getting back to our happy place soon :goodvibes.

I do wonder if a lot of people are feeling this same way...when we go back, let's go big! As in, let's do CL or stay longer or try a deluxe for the first time. I know I've been thinking that same way.

An extra special trip after an extra hard time? I can get behind that!

I was hoping to go big this year since I turn 50 lol. I was hoping for the Halloween party, the CL fastpasses, etc. I think you are right though, I do think people will go bigger and better. We all need something to look forward to. My husband literally said last night, just think of the money we will be saving this summer. Little does he realize that I plan on spending more next summer. We are also literally eating away any savings. That's all we do is eat, all day long. He will be rolling me to disney🤣

I apologize if I missed this discussion but would be interested in knowing if anyone has concerns about club level buffets? We have loved and used club level for many years but are feeling a little trepidatious about the possibility of Covid-19 virus germs getting on the serving utensils, dishes, direct contact with the food etc.
Do you think they may alter the way the food and drinks are served ( CMs serving rather then self-serve)?
We have a club level ressie 5/23-25 that we will cancel regardless of whether WDW opens by then, to err on the side of caution. Basically wondering if when we reschedule whether club level will be the wisest choice. Forgive my neurosis... just hoping for some feedback from my trusted DISers.
