Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I wish it were bookable. I don’t want to go up to the price of a wv cl but it would be nice to have another option other than sv cl

I agree, would be nice if there were more GV CLs as WV CL is quite a jump in price from SV CL.

If someone finds out that these rooms are now classified as Std I am not editing my posts any more....where is the smashing computer emoji? Can't find it.

:rotfl2: That map is pretty recent... within the last 2 years I think. There is 1 for Beach Club too. They are on page 1 of the Y & B thread, in case anyone is interested. Dee keeps that first page amazingly up to date.

NYE was an Alfredo pasta and a scampi pasta, if I have my nights right. Just regular rotation offerings
Yes they have at least 2 sandwich items out, PB&j and then a rotation of Italian subs, turkey wraps or bao buns

I just watched about 5 recent videos on YouTube of the food in the Innkeepers Lounge! Looks amazing!! Do they still do omelettes on Sunday’s? Is there always a chef out in the evenings?! Might you know if they have Riesling or Moscato?! (Important detail) 😊 Thank you.

Any old Magic Band will work, unless you have deactivated it in MDE (something you would have to have done on purpose).

Magic Bands have an internal battery that lasts “a couple of years” that supports long-range functions such as ride photos and Disney being able to know where you are. But a Magic Band will work forever on short-range functions such as tapping admission into the parks, tapping on your room door (aside from an occasional resort room door issue which has to do with the resort’s computer system, as what has happened to some of us above).

It’s important to remember that nothing is ever “on” a Magic Band - it just serves as an access point to your MDE profile. So your current MB, one from last year, or one from three years ago, etc, all do the same thing - access your profile.

We usually bring a few just in case we lose one, some in our party want to match outfits, etc. :-)

Hope that helps!
I have learned to always bring along an old Magic Band or two for just this reason. It seems like every trip one of our new MB acted up and wouldn't work on our room door, having an older band with us always came in handy.

They had a Riesling on our last stay but sadly that was nearly two years ago. Also I think Angie said above that they have switched from omelets on Sunday mornings to Mickey Waffles.

Yes, the chef is there every evening. Angi is reporting that they are now serving Mickey waffles on Sundays. I can understand them doing it. There was always a very long wait for the omelettes. I am sure they can make more waffles at a time. I understand there is also a toppings bar to go with it! I will be there in just 4 more weeks , so will let you know. Going with my granddaughter and daughter in law only this time.

I thought I read that somewhere, but wasn’t really paying attention! We originally were supposed to stay at GDT, but BWI CL makes so much more sense, being we check into BWV the following day! Will keep GDT for next trip!

That’s great to know, thank you!!!! Love Mickey Waffles, so this makes me happy!! 😍 I’m very excited about trying this lounge! I have a feeling we’ll be back there again! I hope you have a great time, thank you for responding!! I’m looking forward to hearing all about it!

I officially booked. BWI in August. Debated Poly but they only have lagoon view available and the discount was a measly 10%. I'm having a hard time justifying the price, especially when I could stay at the Waldorf for 1300 (I have Hilton friends and family). I still have to run it past dh but I'm already linked in MDE. Now I'm hoping for after hours events when I'm there.

No more omelettes as of Jan 1. It will be a Mickey waffle bar instead, with a chef making the waffles fresh
They have Riesling but I don’t know if it’s a sweet one or not sweet. They recently changed all their varieties and labels. At least between my October and Christmas trips

Thank you so much for your reply and helping me out!!:flower3:

Hi everyone! We were booked in a regular Standard room at the Poly this coming May until the discounts came today and our TA found us Garden View CL for a fantastic AP rate, so we switched! We are super excited, we never thought we would stay CL and this is all new to us. I’ll be celebrating my birthday (it’s the end of May but timing worked better for the beginning of the month) and we are at the upper end of the infamous Childless Millennial demographic, just me and my gf. This is a whole new area of research for me so I hope you don’t mind a lot of silly questions!

Poly CL is great. I hope you have a fabulous birthday trip!

Hi all. Question about food in the poly club level. I know it’s “Asian inspired” (that’s what the CM I spoke told me), but can anyone comment on the options for people who don’t eat meat or shellfish but eat fish? We did CR CL and loved the food - lots of salmon and things like Mac and cheese for the kids. Are we going to be unable to eat most of the poly CL food? Thanks!

I've had a long, arduous battle trying to decline MBs in the past year. Just when you thought you had declined it during online check-in, a set of gray bands show up at the front desk. :rotfl2: My MBs that are not super old but at least a year old work just fine. They even pick up the long-distance signals for the Photopass at rides (such as 7DMT).

Anyway, my real reason for being back on this thread is that I booked GDT CL for my DD's 13th. We had such a good trip at AKL CL last year for her birthday, we just had to do Disney again. I will be stalking all GDT CL food porn. @AngiTN can you tell us more about recent offerings? I know when they first opened they had scarmbled eggs and bacon, but I'm not sure they are still offering that.

we just finished a poly CL stay in December (a first for us as well) so fire away with you questions!!

off the top of my head for non shellfish there was a tuna tataki small bites salad of sorts (forgive the alliteration) a pork belly small bite dish, uncrustables and Mac and cheese for kids (both of which I ate) and I think a few other things - I LOVE shellfish so my attention was not fully committed to non shellfish.
