Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Ok first night done. Rained in EPCOT today. We finally gave up waiting and just got drenched. Made it back to the lounge at the BW for evening apps. Shrimp scampi was very good. DD hada pasta with chicken. DH had some meat and cheese as we were heading to ESPN Club later. They either need to back down the number of rooms or find a way to expand the lounge. We are running in to the same issues as last year where there is no room to sit. We sat out on the furniture in the hall. Still good to be “home”.

ESPN Club has not been the same the last couple of years. Too bad really it was always a go to but the food was not good tonight.

Just an FYI for everyone concerning DSS and the new experience reservations at SWGE. (Oga's, Droid Depot and Savi's) They aren't able to make these reservations for you. ☹ I emailed today because I have been having trouble getting through online. They got back to me very quickly but said:

"Thank you for contacting Disney Signature Services! Our team of specialists do not have access to secure Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers or Droid Depot reservations for Guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. These bookings can only exclusively be made through DisneyWorld.com."

I called the regular dining line to try for Oga's (with no luck) after I already had emailed DSS for help as I had total website fail until everything was booked. But that was all after 5pm, so no response from DSS yet about whether they can help with Oga's, a dining reservation and thus possibly within their purview.
The dining reservation CM did say that there was no one to call on any line for Savi's or Droid Depot. Online Only.

Good morning fellow club level lovers. Just got done with breakfast and getting ready to head to the Animal kingdom. The lounge was not nearly as hectic this morning which was nice. Got to catch up with some of our favorite CMs—again great to be home at the BW.

Hey @sfbank thanks for the real time updates on your latest stay. I hope the weather improves today for your AK visit. The lounge is often very busy when it rains as guests stay in rather than head out for evening activities.

Yep, my phone went off at 4am with text alerts from Touring Plans, and I found plenty of everything.
DSS did reply this morning to offer help in booking an Oga's ADR, so it appears it's part of their services.

so glad I stumbled across this thread! We are staying in a Deluxe room CL at the Boardwalk at the end of October and so very excited. My family doesn't know we are staying here either! Planning on surprising them when we get to the airport in Orlando.

You will love the Boardwalk. Deluxe rooms are so nice for the extra space too.
We have discovered a new favorite too. Nomad lounge at the Animal Kingdom. It is so calm,relaxed,and quiet. Having a couple of plates and a drink for lunch. A hidden gem.

Sorry if this has been asked before and I missed it, but is coffee always available when the lounge is open at the Poly? This will be our first club level stay, so I’m not sure how much we’ll be around during the day. But my H drinks lots of coffee! It would be nice to stop in for a cup if we come back for a break or something.

Yes, and if it’s not out in the coffee pots, there is a large Nespresso machine that makes various coffees, lattes, etc that is always on.

I will usually drink the regular coffee that is out in the AM because it’s always fresh and replenished often. Later in the day when coffee demand slows down and it sits there for awhile ...I’ll use the Nespresso machine for a fresher cup.

To go cups are also abundant, so it’s very convenient to grab a cup when on the go.

If you are hoping to be close to the lounge, that can be your room request.

The trade-off of being near the lounge though is more foot traffic/noise outside your room. I can't say we have experienced too much loud noise at BC, but more or less- a 'quiet' room location (at least in my mind) = the far end of the hallway (everyone goes to the lounge; few folks walk to the far end of the hallways).

I had DSS secure me a Ogas reservation yesterday (after never getting through online) , so they can at least get those.

So DH and I decided tonight for the 5-7 service to head to the lounge about 4:45 to get a drink and relax since we were back in enough time. Most of the tables are taken already but we will try something and give ours up for the next guest. I still miss the days of being able to visit and relax in the lounge. Still love it here though everything in life changes.

Thanks, I don't care if we are close to the lounge or not if it's all on the same floor. If there had been multiple floors I may have requested the same floor, but was mostly just wondering what the layout was, as I hadn't been able to find it online.
