Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

The ‘best’ view from the WL CL lounge (in my opinion) is that looking down on the WL lobby and always being within earshot/eyeshot of the relaxing lobby vibe/buzz.

For MK views, there are two balconies directly off the WL CL lounge that face towards the MK/CR. Trees obstruct a castle view, but you can see some higher fireworks from here. I ‘think’ they play the audio during the show from the speakers on the balconies, but I haven’t been to WL in awhile so not totally sure if still accurate (I’m sure someone will know).

Some pics... I’m standing on one balcony, you can see the other straight ahead/to the right. They are the “well” type balconies that are pretty much ‘in’ the roof.

They are not that big.

View from then ‘left’ balcony. This was taken 11/16 so a few years old when the construction was still going on, this would look better now.

Same location, just at night.

Hope that helps!
Wow. This is such great info!! I truly appreciate you taking the time to post these photos for me and give me these great tips! :)

You have views of the Resort grounds and lobby from WL. Well, and the lake.

People do all of the above, grab and go and hang out. No right or wrong way to use the lounge. WL is one of the lounges that closes the doors (gates) to the food between services but it is odd too in that you always have access to the tables. Many others are all in one area, tables and food.

Wonderful!! Thank you! So when you say they close between services, this means it’s not continuously open through the day? We need to time it right for going back to the resort ?

Yes - they only serve food/bev during the specific scheduled times.

I think you were talking about WL specifically. Just a general question for anybody who knows: Do any of the resort CL lounges stay open all the time? I understand they don't have constant food service, but are all doors locked up, so it's not an option to just chill out there, if need be? Sometimes you just need that "second space."

Actually WL still had lots of seating available and they said just rattle the doors if you need/want anything. So I did. Lol.

Akl, Poly, CR and gf are always "open" . (No way to lock the space)

BC/yc/ bwi close at times during the day and overnight.

I think that's why I love mono cl's . Come back at 10;30pm or later there's still a spot to hang out . Wake up early? Again can leave room and sit without waking your family.

Oh and poly has a bathroom on 3rd floor of lounge which is super handy vs CR and gf which does not. Wl also has one in the hall nearby. BC had one in the lounge, Dont know yc , my only one left to try.

Bwi I don't remember having one?

To add to @trishadono's post, at some of the always 'open' CLs they'll leave the fridge stocked with sodas and at some the Nespresso machine is available after the 10pm closing time. Some will leave fruits/apples/oranges out as well.

We stayed at YC several times this past year and found the lounge/seating side of the lounge always open overnight - they rope off the food service area. I think this may have been a recent change there.

Just so it's clear, it's the food service area that is closed, the part of the lounge with tables/chairs/TVs/seating remains open.

Like for example, this photo was taken from inside the food area looking over towards the tables/chairs part of the lounge. You can see the doors there on the left/right. There's another set of doors behind where this photo was taken as well.

AKL also has a bathroom on the 6th floor next to the elevators for anyone wondering.

BWI only closes their doors at the end of the night, so after 10:30 (or is it 11:00?) until they open in the morning at 6:30. They stop putting food out at points during the day but you are free to remain in the lounge. The doors do not close
And even when the lounge is closed there is a seating area in the atrium in front and they usually have a bowl of fruit there

I never remember it's there either without looking at photos to jog my memory, but the BWI CL lounge restroom is so close/obvious to the lounge it's easy to overlook! This is taken just inside the lounge doors looking out towards the hallway.

And note, it's a unisex bathroom. It threw my friend off last weekend when she saw a guy go in

I'm sure how quickly they clean-up/close up from the 8-10pm dessert/cordial service can vary on any given night (and you would be informed than anyone on current lounge habits/trends), but this photo was taken at 10:08pm on 2/24/18 according to the time stamp on my phone. No last minute straggler desserts for me on this particular evening! :rotfl2:

We are here now and the yc lounge was open after we got back from dah at 12. Like you said, they just have the food area roped off.

No welcome gift in our room but that’s perfectly okay. We didn’t have anyone meet us at the hotel doors either so we just went to the front desk and asked. We had our room number but didn’t really know what we were supposed to do.

I’m impressed with the help from our resort. They gave us a number to text if we need anything. When we got to mk both of our FPS were for rides that broke down. We told them we would be there Friday so they gave us anytime FPS for mk that can even be used on 7dmt. It took less than 5 minutes to get that figured out which is amazing!

Do people usually hang out in the lounge for a while or is it more of an eat quick and go thing?

Both. On our last trip to YC, we saw two couples arrive for before happy hour and they were still sitting there at the end of dessert hours. Just hanging out and talking.
