Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Hey, I can dream! I remember a time when it was nearly impossible to get a room during Easter week. Nowadays, there's availability in almost every resort we like right up until close to our trip.

I'm guessing it's because of all the price increases; they finally encountered a wall of resistance.

Whatever general public offer I was looking at yesterday had discounted rates still close to $1,000 a night for a TPV room - I have to tap out at that point no matter how much kool-aid I drink!

When the prices get that high I just go and book POFQ. At $200 a night it feels like the bargain of the century, even with two rooms.

The discount for January was only $238 a night at WL , also a bargain. I chose cl at $375 because it was only$25 a night more than a gv room at cr we had already booked.

Definitely a great deal! My easter week deal there isn't too bad in comparison to the other CLs I wanted.

My awesome TA just got back from PolyCL and said they had even more offerings than what she noticed before.

Anyone here to compare to what Tikiman posts as typical offerings?

We are going back next summer, and I am hoping it will be just as great as the first time.

Well that would certainly be awesome! Poly CL is our favorite vacation experience, but many of us feel the CL food needs to be greatly improved. Did she have any specifics?

We were at Poly CL over July 4 week and had the same offerings as normal. Only difference I've seen posted of late is the mid-afternoon snacks now consisting of some veggies.

I just wanted to say thank you for an awesome thread. My son and I were upgraded to CL at Poly and I was uncomfortable about tipping. I had my son tipone person who did try to refuse however I am glad to know that tips are not expected. I booked CL again at Poly for my birthday.

We were there in September the food choices could be improved I did however love the chips and they had little cups of veggies out.

No, no specifics. She just said she was there this past summer and this time around there was definitely more offerings. That sounds positive to me!

Well, well, well... I ask what a "UOC" is and a few hours later one shows up in today's mail! Is this the same thing as when people talk about getting a PIN code? We've never recieved one before, figured I was on Disney's "he'll come anyway" list! :-)

Yay the elusive pin code..or UOC...have you applied some Disney math..along with Disney logic and booked another trip yet...lol...:upsidedow...

We received one too...just today...and are hoping to put it to good use!

~I agree..no rhyme or reason to who or why anyone gets the pin code offers...but we have gotten them in my name and DHs name too and I think in one of the kids names...lol.....email..and snail mail...another way to apply some Disney logic..and book another trip...I know you all understand....:thumbsup2

Lol! Well, since you asked, I'm having UOC issues! Tried to type it in to investigate prices/availability but the website says the code is invalid. I've entered/checked/rechecked the info multiple times and still get the same error, so something must be up either with the code or my account. I haven't had a chance to call yet, but I keep thinking they're going to say "ohhh, you got that pin code by mistake"!

I do hope I can get it worked out and/or the AP spring discounts are reasonable! I'm itching to book something!

Congrats on your code. Good luck!

Have you guys moved to a new address by chance? If so, try logging into your PIN offer with your old address info. I have to log in with my maiden name and old zip code. When I first started getting PIN codes, I couldn't figure out how to log in, so I called and they said the PIN offer was for my old address and they'd update my info....but I still get PIN's and now I know just to type my old info.

Genius! That was it! We did move earlier this year. But lol, Disney has had my new address since early 2016 and multiple trips now. The UOC was sent to my CURRENT address, but I have to enter my OLD zip code for it to work. Then when I login it gives me the disclaimer that all travel docs will be sent to the indicated address, which of course is the OLD address.

I get it that stuff happens with managing millions of guests, different systems, etc, but just too funny.

Now to the matter at hand....time to plan a trip! :cool1: 30% off AKL, WL, BWI, and YC. I'm thinking this year will be about trying some new spots!

What is UOC? I tried every other suggestion and nothing has worked so may as well try this one too. :rotfl2: Congrats on your pin code.

Awesome!! By the way, it's just like booking with Orbitz -- once you book the trip and it's in MDE, just go in and edit the "address where your documents will be mailed" to your current address.

Also, chances are the AP deal will be a bit better. That was the case last spring for me. And if it comes to that, I was able to simply edit my reservation in MDE to change it to the AP deal!

That 30% is exactly why I'm currently booked at WL CL deluxe room.

Happy planning!

Wow, great thread!! We are Atrium Level at the Contemporary December 6th-15th of 2017 before sailing on the Dream :) <3

Glad you got it to work. Have fun planning :).

Okay all please help me decide. I'm planning my trip for next year- here are my options (For the choices I list, these are basically the only hotel choices I can make...)
My options are- October 15th for 1 week staying at the Yacht Club (will be during food and wine still and can probably swim in the pool.) Beach Club 11/12/17 for one week. (If the food and wine dates for next year are similar to this year, we'd only get 2 nights of food and wine...) 12/3/17 for one week at the Poly. All the choices would be club level. It will be myself, my husband and our 4 year old. So, who votes for which?

All good choices so I would look at crowds. I would probably pick 11/12/17. mid-late October is crowded; my mother went last year and she said it was mobbed. First week (or two?) in December you get all the cheer groups.
