Yes! They most definitely do. We just returned home last night after a 6 night stay and they had them every afternoon that we stopped in. They were mixed in a bowl with tortilla type chips, but you could easily pick out the chips using the tongs. I didn't care for the tortillas so that it was I did.Question: does the Poly club lounge offer the house made chips during the afternoon service? My husband loves those. They had them at the BC, GF, and CR, but I didn't see chips on the list on the Poly thread. Anybody know?
Hiya. Any one got an idea when availability to book Club at AKL comes out. Trying to book and take advantage of the UK free dining offer, but being told no availability?
Looking to stay october/november 2017 for out 2nd wedding aniversary.
Theres usually a room discount offer at the same time as free timing... It is typically more beneficial with the higher end rooms to do the room discount. It would depend on the number of people in your family too.Wow, page 3! Almost couldn't find us!
Anyone thinking about free dining this fall? Last year there was tons of availability for club level rooms with the offer. Just curious if anyone thinks it's a good deal.
So much WDW news this week! Can't wait to see all the new stuff this summer!![]()

I was also told AKL has limited availability but I've since been told any of the resorts that had 'call us' for certain room categories aren't released until 11 months out, not sure which is correct so it's anybodies guess.
However, YC and BC have good club level availability for the whole of 2017 with the free dining, may be worth considering them?
AKL Club Level (Non-DVC) I'm just leaving this resort right now and I have to agree with the earlier post about club level at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have to say I spent a lot of time reading AKL information on the boards and reviews before booking this resort. However, I was completely underwhelmed. The club level rooms are really far from the lounge. I would put the room on par with a moderate resort room. The toilets and showers are very loud. (You can hear your neighbors using them.) No turn down service or anything (not even a welcome letter) upon arrival. The staff was not friendly at the resort. As the other person stated above, no one greeted us at the door and they checked us in up front before realizing we were club level. At that point, they argued over who would take us up stairs. Club level rooms look at the Savannah, but they are above the tree line so unless animals are close you really cannot see them. After staying at the Wilderness Lodge and the Grand Californian in Disney Land I expected the similar "wow" effect of lobby. However, it was just okay. We split this stay with a tower baylake room at Contemporary. Honestly, I wish we would have stayed there the entire time and just came here for dinner one night. I recommend doing that and getting there a little early to view the animals. Maybe DVC is worth it for this one, but I would not pay 450+ per night again here. The service and room at the contemporary was way better than AKL.
Hi- this thread was so helpful to me so just wanted to provide a quick review.
We stayed Poly CL GV 4/16-4/22. My Mom (70) and my twin sons (14). We stayed in room 3524 which was perfect. We loved the ease of entering the lounge from the 3rd floor. All of the CM's were great.
We were not greeted off of ME, but at check in at GCH the CM made a call and escorted us to Hawaii to continue the check in. Our check in was special and perfect. Without my Moms knowledge I had contacted IPO and requested a sunflower lei. (My brother passed suddenly in July and my Mom had a thing with sunflowers with him... And the only time he went to Disney was our first time as a family in 1984 and we stayed at Poly so I knew this would be in her mind). IPO said the island guide couldn't make a sunflower lei fearing it would fall apart easily so asked if they could use fake sunflowers and make a headpiece. I just said to do whatever they wanted. After the check in, the CM said OH wait, we have something for you. He placed the headpiece on her head and also put a sunflower bracelet on her wrist. It was beautifully done and perfect.
Club ended up perfect for us. We used it every morning except our BOG early breakfast day. We popped in almost every afternoon, and every night we were there for the 5-7 service. We watched Wishes one night from inside the lounge. We are not sushi people so that was the only bust for us. I was hoping there would be some other hot option besides the sushi, but there wasn't. It wasn't a big deal at all though. There was plenty of other stuff to satisfy us.
My boys loved the uncrustables. They also had mini corn turkey dogs a few nights for the kids. But, my two also ate the adult offerings as well. I asked for a couple of uncrustables to bring to the pool one afternoon and was given them no problem.
Feel free to ask any questions.

So excited to be staying at the Poly club level 9/4/16. It's only for 1 night but then we move too the VGF!

I keep going back ask forth about whether I need to visit this fall. My DH has an AP that goes until late September but then we'd have to buy tickets for myself and my kid. Decisions, decisions.
Did they only have sushi on one night, or more than one? My DH and two of my kids won't eat sushi either, though I love it and one son does also. The lounge is how I get my DH to agree to Disney trips, so the offerings info is fantastic. I may have to find other ways to make him happy if the Poly food offerings are a bust for him. He absolutely hates seafood of any kind - is he up the creek this visit?
They only had one sushi night when we were there as well. One other night had conch fritters. Besides that, I can't think of anything else with fish. I only noticed a repeat once and it was the potato cheese pierogies.
One night had beef wrapped in bacon with blue cheese dip and the pierogies, another had chicken quesadillas and egg rolls. The other night with pierogies had little meatballs in some sauce. There were chicken wings one night, but I can't remember what was with them. My other son isn't home to ask. I'll edit this if we remember more.
If our room isn't ready when we arrive at the poly, can we still use the lounge?
