Oops, double-post, sorry.
Question about planning - we are scheduled to be at a CL poly room third week of December . We were told we would be contacted about scheduling things because we are club level - how far in advance should we expect to hear from someone? Is it still too early to be planning things? What things can they help plan?
Thanks in advance - Never done the CL thing so I feel lost lol (Though I have a feeling after this experience I won't ever want to stay at anything other than CL ever again lol )
So excited to have finally booked WL CL for our stay! We are doing a split stay with AoA, and will be at WL 9/8-9/13/15. Of course, once we decided to do the split stay CL wasn't available. I've been calling every day since late May/early June and FINALLY go it last night! My question is what sort of kid friendly options are there during the Wine & Cheese hours?

WL CL probably has the best selection of evening offerings of any of the CL lounges, and the food is very good. The menus do change from time to time, and the offerings may be on different nights than what the menus show, but most of what is shown in the menus on that thread was there the last time we stayed. If you like fruit cobblers, they have a different one every night during the dessert hours - very yummy!!
Non DVC Club Level rooms are located on the 4th floor overlooking Arusha savanna. The lounge is on the 6th floor.
You might want to take a look at the WL info thread http://www.disboards.com/threads/di...e-and-villas-information-thread-2015.3372315/
I agree! WL CL ranks at the top (with GF RPC) for food offerings as well as lounge/atmosphere
I'm not sure how old your son is but our only AKL trip ds was just 6. Between the bunkbeds and the "sheet of find these animals" we found in the desk I couldn't get my son to leave the room let alone the resort.Thank you, the bunk beds are the important thing as our son is looking forward to sleeping in them
We were lucky enough to be upgraded (or my grandmother booked as a surprise... we never found out which...) 15 + years ago. All I remember is the never ending bowl of gummie bears, lol! That trip made me fall in love with WL and CL!

Until midnight the day you check out unless the lounge has doors that lock...in which case it would be 10pm. You really can't get anything but a soda after 10 anyway (even if they don't have doors that lock) since the staff leaves at 10.We have decided to add a night onto our September trip!! YAY!! We are currently staying Atrium CL at CR, but there is not a CL room the last night, and really we are planning to go to a MNSSHP on our last night, so we are thinking of just getting a regular room that last night. Will we still have access to the CL lounge during that day? I've heard we have access to midnight? Thanks!
Thank you. Our DS will be nearly 7, so it sounds like an ideal resort for him.I'm not sure how old your son is but our only AKL trip ds was just 6. Between the bunkbeds and the "sheet of find these animals" we found in the desk I couldn't get my son to leave the room let alone the resort.
With 50 plus trips that one still stands out for great family memories!
CL too? My ds didn't try that til pixie dust upgrade for his 14th. He loved it all!
Sounds like a great trip planned.
You guys are all grounded! You have made me addicted and I haven't even stayed club level yet.
I initially booked WL but I fled like so many others due to construction. Now I'm GF RPC in late Sept under a Passholder discount. Then my husband and I had a weekend booked at BWI I'm November to see some Osborne Lights. room only discounts are out and we switched to CL for $80 more a night. We also booked under a different rate for poly CL (First time staying there and am super excited so they better get their act together and start offering something better than cost co food) for May 2016.
Can you say addiction!!
