have any of you ever stayed at the AKL dvc club level? I am making my reservations with renting points for next spring, and I see that the AKL has club level available for a studio? Is this new, or am i reading it wrong? It looks pretty cool if so, and only a few hundred dollars more in points for our timeframe, if so this would save us a lot in food, as my kids can EAT!! Thanks!

What is the consensus of online check-in when staying CL? Any particular pros or cons?? Thanks

I did online check-in for our last Poly CL stay. Our room was ready at noon, and it was an upgraded room.

We are staying for 6 nights DVC in November, they are seriously hard to get hold of so go for it while you can if they have availability for your dates x

Hi everyone

I'm so excited! I finally was able to make our FP+s the other night! That was my first experience with MDE and FP+, so I'm glad that I was able to work them in nicely around our ADRs for each day.

Yesterday I emailed IPO and asked them about the chair and umbrella rental area at Typhoon Lagoon, and I also requested that a bottle of champagne along with an anniversary card from Mickey and Minnie be delivered to our room on our first day. We love to make Mimosas with OJ from the lounge while we're getting ready in the mornings!

They replied today with the price for the chairs/umbrella at Typhoon Lagoon and that they will make the reservation for us; and they also will have a bottle of bubbly and a card delivered to our room. 58 days to go, it's really feeling "real" now! I can't wait.

You are not reading it wrong. The CL floor at AKL was converted to DVC units. As the pp said, there are only so many of those units and they tend to go fast, so if that's something you want, I'd book it now.

Yes I have stayed DVC CL and it was great because our room was on the same floor as the lounge!! Enjoy it!

We don't drink soda (so maybe it will be different for you) but we do really enjoy the nice latte machine up in the lounge, so we don't get the mugs. If you are planning to spend lots of time at the pool, though, it will be quicker and easier to get to the Mara to refill those mugs than to get to the CL lounge.

We don't use mugs. Too much hassle to carry them around, wash them, etc. Usually we go straight to the park from the lounge so I don't want to go back to the room to drop them off.

We bring back 1 or two diet cokes (in cans) to our room from the lounge. We don't use the mugs.

We land in Orlando on August 23rd and will be checking in at the Polynesian after breakfast on the 24th, and we're there until the 31st! It does feel more real now!!

Isn't it amazing that no matter how many times we've been to WDW, each trip feels just as exciting and new? It's not just me who feels this way, right???

I plan on bringing my old mugs from last year to put the soda from the lounge in and take it to the pool. Or even to put a beer in to take to the pool. I plan on purchasing new mugs for my 3 boys, we have a lot of pool time scheduled this year. Less hassel for them just to fill up at the pool.

Me!!!!! I'm so excited every single time. In fact this whole week I've been at the beach all I thought about was WDW and wishing I was there. No other vacation destination can even come close for me.

This may have been answered but I missed it if it was.... This is our first time doing CL, do you have access to lounge after check out. For example if check out is at 11 and MDE isn't until 2 will we be able to grab a snack before we catch the bus

As of our trip last year, the answer was yes. We took advantage of that as well for drinks and snacks before the flight.

Yes. Definitely. Especially if we have a flight later in the day. It's a great place to hang out and relax.

When we are on the DDP, we do use them especially at the pool. Much more convenient than running up to club level, but other than that, not really.
