Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

We are staying at GF CL and arriving to the resort around noon (assuming no flight delays). We are hoping to head to the lounge and eat "lunch" before heading to the parks so that we don't have to spend time and $ eating lunch elsewhere. Is this realistic in terms of lunchtime offerings? Do they have food available at noon, or is it more snacks only?
I can't say to GF recently but any we've been in recently have had something that would make a light lunch. Bite size sandwiches, chips, fresh veggie, dips, fruit, cheese, etc.

I’ve never seen it cheaper! I’m surprised!
My trip coming up gf was 40% off with AP.

I know my last 5 0r 6 July/aug trips gf had 35% off vs 15 or 25 for poly and CR. Other times Poly gv would be way lower. I am always looking!

Oh last Jan I did gf sl because it was cheaper or similar with the Disney visa,

So sl can be the same , less or close to other mono resorts. Poly TPV has been really high this year.

Wow, that’s wonderful!! I’d grab a couple reservations at 40% off lol Have always gone in November prior to this year, so never saw prices like that!

When we were there this past May the offerings were soup, various cheeses, sliced meats, various breads, crackers, dips, crudités, macaroons, and rice krispy bars. You can Definitely make a meal. We even canceled one of our lunch reservations at MK and rode the boat back to have lunch a second day. Soups rotated between tomato basil and corn chowder.

Can the concierge in CL arrange a gift basket to be waiting in your room upon check-in? If so, how would I do this? I am thinking something fun with treats and maybe a plush for the kids.

They will typically just refer you to Disney Floral and Gifts, which is a separate office that has a whole host of paid in-room packages.

Note, Floral and Gifts will usually not do day of/waiting in your room packages due to room assignment issues, although I’ve read people having success with it (they have always told me no the three times we’ve ordered something).

Same here. Always been told no by Floral and Gifts, even when staying CL.
Even with online check in and text room notifications they make it tough to have anything waiting in your room.
I had some success with doing the Birthday celebration this past March on arrival day but had to time it well after our arrival time. I tried to time it at a time after we planned to enter our room, then leave and go out to do something, so it would be there when we came back. If I remember right, the key was we needed to have entered, and accepted, our room.

This might work. We are checking in noon-ish and then heading to the lounge to grab food and then heading out for the day, so I guess I can have them deliver it while we are out and about later that day.

Actually, I just asked for this through SS at the Beach Club for our trip in 3 weeks. They offered to get in touch with Floral and gifts for us to arrange something for our grandchildren.

It seems others have had success with day of check-in, but I’ve only every been told no, no matter when we check-in... most recently in July. I must be asking the wrong way or something!

Tell me about check-in experience in CL, please. We are staying CL at GF, checking in on Tuesday 11/20. We are arriving around noon. I was planning on doing on-line check-in, dropping bags at desk, going into lounge to get food and then heading to parks. How does check-in in CL differ from regular check-in process? Does checking in on-line ahead of time change anything about the process? Thanks!

Check in online impacts nothing.
Basically, nothing changes as far as your steps to start with are concerned.
You can check in online as usual.
You may or may not get room number. At noon, odds are fairly low. Possible of course but lower that early
You will arrive at resort, head to check in desk. (at least this is what we do for CL stays, all but BWI since I know where to go and no special elevator access needed)
Tell them you have arrived, let them see you are a CL guest.
They will most likely have someone escort you to the CL floor/building (you don't say if you are SL or main building) where they will introduce you to the CL CM on duty and they will take over from there.

OK thank you. We will be in Sugarloaf.

Happy Friday! Did you find January AP rates to be at 40% this year too? Considering renewing my AP now.:)
